While separated we all will be pretty much useful in dealing with a single man, but when problem is serious you are just hiding and speaking about pure ideals and Zoner way.

We don't live in political vacuum anymore. Freeport One is between Corsairs, Bretonia and Rheinland, Freeport Six has Outcast and Kusarians around, Freeport Eleven is between three large powers. If you are safe today, nobody can guarantee that the next day your neigbhour will decide that you are too neutral with his enemy. Who do you think will help you then?

For a long time balance in Sirius were simpler for us. We weren't just separated, we never cared. When times changed we created a unity to face new threats. Now Zoners in Omicrons are facing enemies that will not bring troubles for replete popes in Baffin or will not disrupt your well-established life on Erie, but if the well-fed will not understand the hungry today, we will all finish the same way being completely unable to do anything against something more serious then a barking dog.

Nobody asks you to leave your home and fight for the people you have nothing in common with exept the same idea in the very basis of your way of life. It's your personal choice. But there are a lot of other ways to give a hand to thoose in trouble.

Ahem, as much as I hold my clients in respect neither I, nor mr. Lagavulin I would assume, would like to be confused with each other.

I once used to be a miner - and was even at one point involved in diplomacy - but for health reasons I had to give up that life - so now I have settled on Planet Erie - as attorney. My company is small - and generally attracts the attention of minor business men - or miners.

For obvious reasons I cannot reveal the list of all of my clients - but I am sure, that you can understand, that my clientel cannot be composed in such a way, that inherited conflicts makes my job as legal advisor impossible. I would simple lose my clientel, if that was the case.

Your suspicion is without foundation. I am an old man now - but not even as young and more adventurous was I ever attracted to a life in any way compariable to that of a spy.

Sadly it is way beyond my powers to bring any party in this conflict to the negotiation table. However I would surely consider that a major feat in my career.

Mr. Duncan, you answer first made me angry - but I realise now, that you - at least to some extend - is right: I have not contributed with a final solution to this meaningless conflict - other than pointing in the direction of peace and negotiation.

I see now, that this conference was not opened for the sake of peace - it was opened in order to call upon all Zoners to gather under one color - act as one nation - in order to seek a solution in war.

I therefore understand, that this conference is not for me - and consequently I will not contribute further. My voice of peace will be silenced - for now. If I one day find myself in a position to contribute - more constructively - as you put it - I will let you all know.

Nice to be remembered I guess...or something like that, point is, Freeport 10 can do what it wants, Freeport 9 can do what it wants, dont mean I got to hope on the bandwagon. When you try to paint all us zoners with one brush, you never get a pretty picture, same thing happens, doesnt matter if you are a house trying to lump all us together or other zoners trying to do it, it just comes out looking like finger painting.....ohhhh finger painting.
