Well, technically it still works for you in coming up 11 (which was the second part) for those people born post-2000. Although my granddaughter was born in 2008, she's still only be 3/4th and not 3 this year.

Her birthday was February 29th...

And yeah - (19)61 + 50 = 111 ... Half a freaking century old....

this is incredibly stupid. of course it will be 111. Because basically you count the years from 1900 till 2011. Which is obviously 111, there is no magic trick you just count. Like Count Count

i can prove you wrong. someone born on 29th feb in 1971 would only be 10 years old;

71 + 10 = 81

For me 111. But what about someone born in the year 2000?

00 + 11 = 11. Need an extra hundred buddie.
