I've been planning to pickup WoW for a while, right now i'm waiting on a new computer. WoW looks like it has alot more social elements in it than Freelancer IMO, and i was told the map or "world" is large enough so that it will take you days to cross it. this to me represents the possibility of exploration, i can't resist that. I love swords and things, and fighting beats and whatnot, but when i crave endo-steel on endo-steel action, i'll come back to discovery. And when i need to be insade a hot mech, i'll play mechwarrior 4. Simply put, each game has different strengths and weaknesses, and they shouldn't be compared. My general quam with freelancer nowadays is the boredom which comes with trading. That, and noone on discover seems to want to socialize. I'm no shut-in on anything, but most of my friends are drunks and stoners, and on a saturday night, I'd rather be inside my Border Worlds Transport listening to good music and exploring Tau systems i've never seen.
I happen to like WoW--But not enough to pay every month. I also hate the fact that the bosses (OMG ILLIDAN) are no thirty storeys tall instead of the human size they're SUPPOSED TO BE.
I also hate how WoW screwed up the storyline ofthe warcraft series completely.

Really ilike rpgs and mmorgs like final fantasy but the fee's longs hours of endless grinding with no storyline and useless quests makes for a boring game. Final fantasy has an in depth storyline and i enjoy it. I have played everquest online adventures and i hated it no storyline endless grinding and ppl fighting all the time ugg. Wow Nope not gonna do that again my brain has 1 cell left and i am keeping it. I like discovery better so far than any i have played in a long while and its free. I forgot to say even though l love swords and stuff i get tired of playing 12 to 14 hrs a day. Besides all this my computer would or could not play it. Graphics wise

I haven't seen few of my friends in a long time because of it (they play it, not me:P)
As i'v heard it's so good that you become an addict after few hours on it.

I hate it, it's creating a generation of bad roleplayers. I blame it for the lack of creativity in my tabletop group. I love dungeon crawls as much as the next guy but they shouldn't be the be all and end all of roleplay. Down with WoW, and other similar MMORPGs.

Horrible game. Come on you click the squares? That's so dumb. You keep hitting f1-f12 all day how fun is that. Plus you have to pay for it which makes it worse. I like RPGs like freelancer where you are actually shooting or killing something down for exp or money instead hitting squares and watching it happen like a movie.
