Big Quake hits Christchurch in NZ

my cousins house has collasped and dont know if they were in it or not...

100's under buildings that have collapsed

Its really really worrying

The quake happened during the main part of the day, so its likely they were out of it. Even if they were in it, most people in NZ know the drill for earthquakes and they'd probably fine. *pats*

That's a bad enough event. Buildings are still weak from the last quakes. This one made things even worse.

He lists his home as Christchurch, I know he works in the city, but not sure if he lives in the city proper itself.

Ah well lets hope he was away from work at the time.

And heck, the quake doesn't seem that bad.. Odds are, if anything, he was just roughed up a bit. But like Dabbykins said, it'll probably take Matt a while to get online and such.
