I've come to reply to this channel since I was a witness in this incident.
He seemed to be evading the police as far as I could see.
I wasn't really paying attention due to me escort an vessel.

I saw the following...
And vessel loaded with an insane amount of artifacts as shown earlier.
A vessel that tried to evade the police by docking at every station.
When he docked a second time my transport vessel I was escorting passed by so I had to go.

But here is the proof from my point of view.

Reporting a miner who disobeyed direct order to pay fine, and (presumably) bought mercenary to deal with my action against him:

Note: He did moved away from Essex, after explaining that he was under attack, if this was the case, the enemy was long gone and he was yet still sitting within the NFZ.
He also had low-quality turrets whose were unable to penetrate my shield, he only fired 3 salvos, so I did not manage to turn on my guncam in time to register him firing on me.

He called for a mercenary/friend from STALKER group, who tried to stop me and attacked me before I could explain situation to him, leading to assumption he was allied/had a bounty contract with said trader.

Note: Opened fire almost instantly after saying "stop police", almost catching me by suprise when i was preparing comm channels to reply, thankfully with assist of Ensign Folge his threat was dealth with.

X - His ship profile, my knowledge is insufficient to recognize this vessel's class, although it was bigger and slower than most bombers, and it's armor was combarable with those of gunboats, while not showing firepower of a typical gunboat.
X - Destruction of said vessel, unfortunately his pod was tracktored by his friend and managed to get out of range of our cruise disruptors before we could stop him. Also my hull is clearly damaged, as stated by console reports.

Ensign Folge might have more guncam recordings in case those provided by me are insufficient.

This is a report of an attack, and requires attention from ExSec.
This is also a trade report, and may require attention from Trade and Shipping Division.

[...] It was shortly into our Trade Lane that we were disrupted, and intercepted by one Maja.

It was promptly told to us that we were wanted dead, and after our suggestion of out-bidding the mercenary's employer was denied, the woman opened fire.

Our crew decided we weren't quite content with dying, and proceeded to make best speed using all systems available to the nearby station. We covered about 20K or so under fire, which our crew was quite proud of. We made it to the base and docked successfully. Our shields had been knocked out, and our hull dented significantly, but nothing that required major repairs.

After our celebratory party at breaking a ship record while the ship was repaired, we set course to continue - unfazed, even non-chalant - to Planet New Berlin.

We continued, and encountered the ship again. Our Shetland hadn't caused much damage to it regrettably, though we did aim our best for her eyes. She politely greeted us, and again opened fire. We docked, this time the run not needed. Our crew was dismayed by the lack of excitement this time. No party. [...] We have included scans and biometric information for the convenience of our ExSec department.

Her ship was equipped with Debilitators and Purple Goddesses. We know our weapons.

As of late, several groups of pirates, typically of ore theiving Pirate Transport variety have reared their ugly heads around Cambridge (particularly near to the Omega 3 gate) and into Omega 3. Now, piracy in this region is far from uncommon, but this spark in ore theft in this area of space warrants BAF attention, as it falls under our juristiction. I will be dispatching more gunboat patrols to clean out any pirate transport they find, a fitting duty for her Majesties gunboat squadrons.

I request any available assets patrol the area to protect BMM and friendly mining efforts in the region as well as the flow of trade, for the sake of the Bretonian economy.

Fury| pirate group, operating from Cambridge to Omega 7/11 (Bounty Hunter dispatch may be warranted)
Billy (indepedent Pirate, claiming to support the Corsairs)
Miner|Drone Clearly not a miner, perhaps attempting to play sheep for other sheep to feel secure

Intel is limited, and positive identification remains to be complete, this war situation as it is, further identifications will be posted as they are made. Suffice it to say, any patrol operating in the area will soon be made aware of these individuals and groups.

Regarding the Last transmission on this channel I have just Had A run in with that Billy Character... Had a Few People complaining of a pirate in Manchester Near the New London Jump Gate while Guarding the lane to New london...Turns out it was Billy. I have no Guncam Evidence but can Relay Transripts If required.
