Yeah, having money helps. The hospitals have to make money somehow. Nothing in this world is ever free. When a politician says, "free medical care" or "free education" they are lying. Simply, someone always has to pay for it.

Indeed it does, and I agree nothing is free. But then, taxpayers pay the money to the state, and the state provides for the health care, police, fire department, etc...

I'm O negative, so my blood is acceptable by all peoples. Clean blood with that type means I get called every three months to donate. Every time they call I donate. Every time I request that it goes to our (american) troops.

unfortunately I am not allowed to give Blood... which sucks because sometimes it is so very needed.


When we would have blood drives at the Naval Hospital there is generally a line of Marines from the base to give blood.. not being able to go really sucks.

Im scared of the needle otherwise i would donate too but im realy scared and i am pretty accesable when i lose a bit blood i get headache and all that for 1 ampul i couldnt hold more then 2 i would get unconscious

Just 15 minutes ago I finished blood donation of my precious 350 ml for free. I volunteered to do this myself. Even then not so bad moneys were offered, I have decided to do this for free, since lives this blood can save can't be measured by any moneys.

Srsly, here in Croatia usual amount is 450ml, and yea, donations are every 3 months.
I always give it for free, dunno is there even a way to do it for money, I wouldn't go there anyway.

I am Zero pozitive blood type, gave 11 times so far.

Dunno did you mean there is place where blood can be donated every two weeks, or that you personally do it every 2 weeks,
cause it wouldn't be possible, body can't compensate half a liter of blood in just 2 weeks.
That's why there is 3 months limit.
