@Ashes,
due to your first comment, I have already reduced the poly count, to flatten the model. My inspiration, comes with a basic concept. When I Make a new model for the game it should contain some aspects of the model, but not al. Else it would be neccesary to make new ships.
There by I can proudly say that I'm not very skilled in the 3D environment, and still learning, so thanks for your feedback.
@viragons,
the model doesn't only look incomplete, it IS incomplete, since it's still in the modeling process. I only want feedback on the things already in there, because I'm still creating it further on. It looks like you haven't read my comments, or you just thought it is already finished, but It is finished when at least I and 10 other persons are happy with the look
The model seems a bit stubby and the shape is very basic. You should start looking into shaping the model so its more than a bent cylinder with a couple of wings in it.
Ok lesse...
- The wings are in my opinion the only good part of the ship at the moment.
- Try to invert them 180 degree and I think they will look better on the ship.
- The hull is too fat and brings nothing new to the Kusari Ship line at this point.
(the Kusari fighter line is my fav vanilla one, but it is not easy to make a kusari fighter, I only made 2 so far, but they are lightly modified Dragons only, thisand this...and actually also this)
- Correct me if I am wrong, but the philosophy behind the Kusari fighters is their small size and fast-looking shape. Your ship is not achieving it in this phase of modelling imo.
- The nose is look ehm like a pig nose.
- Also the ship is too tall for a kusari fighter.
- Well this model could mean nothing atm, becouse maybe it will turn into a totally different one...or not.
The wings are massive and will make the fighter (if that's what it's intended as) easy to hit. It looks like a butterfly, I can't say anything about that.
Other than that, it looks like your take on the Katana and whatever the KNF variant is.
