If "on a regular basis" only applied to trading, then there should be a comma immediately behind the word pirate. As it is written, "on a regular basis" modifies both "pirate" and "trade".

Thus, mercenaries can pirate and trade, but may not do either regularly. The real issue is, what exactly constitutes regularly? For QCP's purposes, I doubt it would be a problem.

I think that QCP should wait until Igiss confirms that but, if it does apply to both "pirate" and "trade" consider my vote changed to Mercenary ID.

I personally have never had a problem with you using the BAF ID, as you have a reason to have it.
But it can cause problems with others who decide not to read RPs. So I say Pirate ID would work best here. The SF/QCO know who you are, and the tag you use lets others know who you are.

Look, once the QCP has finished its piracy routine (rather a lot longer than '3 mill or die') anyone who still doesn't understand the RP, deserves to get shot.
I am of that opinion.
If it causes them to come to the forums, and ask a question, I will answer them, and welcome them to the forums, and that, would be a good thing.

You've got a point there... perhaps QCP should keep their current BAF IDs or switch to Mercenary IDs if it's confirmed that they can pirate on an irregular basis.

They don't pirate "1 mil or die".
They pirate more like "Pay the tax for her Majesty, Queen Carina, you backstabbing Kusari scum-trader".
And i prefer it that way.
"1 mil or die" is so retarded anyway.

There is nothing to fix here.
They RP out well while they are taxing, so people can understand that they are Privateers.
If they, however, don't understand, they can always ask.
I knew they were Privateers, but i still asked them what the hell is QCP.
And guess what? I got the answer.

Nothing to fix here, BAF is alright.

Also, BAF is much more fitting because they are actually helping the QCO in war against Kusari.
And i don't mean help them with Pirating, they help them out in battles.
As someone mentioned, Sir Francis Drake is an example.

Mercenary ID wouldn't help a bit. Why? We are trying to avoid confusion here.
And i really doubt people are going to pay attention to "comma before, comma after" thingies.
Confusion will be even greater, people will start reporting them for being Pirating Mercenaries.

Voted BAF for the same reason stated before, if they cant be arsed to read up on the forum its not at the fault of QCP.

You should see what the admins say though.
