Ibrahim Malikk was about to leave his office when he is alerted towards the conference call. Soon after the details were explained, Malikk calmly stood up.
"Nothing much to say here. I know pretty much most if not all the board members are interested with the acquisition of 74, you have a yes from me. In the meantime I'll take care of paperwork back in Freeport 14."
After hearing what the others had to say, Gabriel speaks up.
"Gentlemen, while you all raise very good points about moving our assets to Omicron 74, I have another suggestion. Don't get me wrong. 74 is fine but that isn't where the future of our little Zoner community lies. Our future is in Omega 49. Used to be that Theta was our hub of activity. But with the deuterium market booming and more and more people migrating away from the constant danger in Theta, 49 has taken its place.
Also, with the recent construction of Nichols, we have even more reason to move there. In fact, I've recieved word that Operation "Kriss Kross" will reach completion within the week.
