Your post expresses that the Wine commodity could be represented by Luxury Consumer Goods or Luxury Food. Do you think we should remove it, change the infocard, or leave it alone?

Normally, I'd like to see more specific commodities, like those in Wing Commander: Privateer, but considering how Freelancer started with very general commodities, I think that we should keep it that way, meaning get rid of Wine, Synth Paste (why was this even added?), and anything else that seems too specific.

With advanced technology, if people wanted to get drunk they could synthesise alcohol from CO2 and H20 if they so desired - or better yet just electrically stimulate their neuro-receptors in whatever way they like!
Vanilla Freelancer contains one drug - Cardamine - it is able to prolong life, a property not shared by any drug known throughout history. That is what makes it a unique commodity (with a unique origin)

Specific cargos can have good RP reasons. Synth Food is a supplier of special food stuff which the LWB and the Farmer's Alliance are fighting. Synth paste "farms" destroyed planet Stuttgart. No normal grown food could've done that according to the infocards.
