There's no such thing as getting rich too fast, only having too much time to earn money in the game and not doing anything else.

What people don't realise is money earned isn't only limited to buying/maintaining ships. Use it to roleplay - the reason you're playing on this server.

Some may say the real roleplayers are the poorest.

As i see many people have misunderstood, i was talking about 1 char. not all of them, that is role playing normal Sirius citizen, since this was RP server i taught people would understand i wanted to role play a simple folk without havening to constantly transfer money to my other chars in order too keep that level since that would be OoRP.

I saw you walking down the streat, your eyes, your lips, your nose, everything was so perfect. I started singing "who let the dogs out."

Money earning is at this rate because it offers opportunities for people who want to get rich. If you want to stay poor then use your money or don't earn it at all. Spend your money in creative ways - give it away, buy useless things and do something fun with them.

Yes, this is a RP server. But not everyone wants to role play as a poor citizen, so the mod has to accommodate people who require more money to role play.

Yes, i understand that, well my main problem was that there was no place i could sell pilots for less than 2000, if i wanted to fight then i had to take some ship down, and since i did not want to RP cold blooded murderer i could not just leave those guys in space(which would also be OoRP since poor character would not leave potential source of income behind.).

I've actually found it extremely difficult to gain a lot of cash by just doing missions. My first character had over 350 kills and did 60 something missions, and he was still poor. He was lucky to have more than a few 100k's. I would see having over 10mil as being somewhat wealthy, but then again that's pushing it. I would just look at credits as a mainly OOC deal and only IC when another ICly asks. My BHG|Core character walks around in dirt, some leather jacket and rags, and if you ask him about money, he'd probably just laugh. I think I still left a mil or two on him, but it's not really IC as much as it's just OOC money to spot for regens and nanobots.

Just a thought . . . I think you can still buy credit cards in the game (can't remember for sure), then go out and jettison them and use them for target practice. . .

It might not be what you want, but it will keep your level down . . .

And good for you to RP an average Joe with no big fancy ship. I always thought that is a good way to play at least one character in the game.

Yes, i did something similar, i would load up my hold with RP cargo and every time i would die it would be gone.

Also, you are right about average Joe, and it reminds us of how big ships in Disco rely are, people tend to forget that and they feel so puny in their LABC, if they jumped into staflier or patriot every once in awhile they would feel whole lot better while flaying their big ships.
