One thought: how long do you imagine that your ship is in space? I never imagined that the normal flights take more than 5-6 hours. My ship sure doesn't have a toilet in it and I sure can't access the cargo hold. It's pretty obvious that it's depressurized by the way we eject cargo. So, normally, I wouldn't ever expect a need for food.
Transports can have a toilet though. But then again, the stuff you use isn't in your cargo hold, either.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
Well, its quite useless to integrate something like a need for food or so. Cargohold is Cargohold and not a storage for things the peoplen need to survive.
Just imagine you carry everything with you;)
Squished bigly ~Champ- Thanks, you're a champ. "What's the word for when it feels inside your heart that everything in the world is all right?"
I could barely read your post and what it's about. Do you even know what punctuation is?
What would happen if you run out of food mid-flight? Would your crew just die of starvation and leave you stranded in space? This is like the fuel requirement concept.
