That is quite sad. From what Igiss has said about their admin team, however, I very seriously doubt they can duplicate one thing that makes Disco stand above the others: the community. I predict they'll fall flat on their faces in relatively short order, though I suppose it's possible they'll attract some Russian players that can't speak English. I'm surprised they had the gall to not give any kind of credit, and then flame when they got called on their own BS.

I only found out about this mod because I'm Russian, that's true, cause if the site wasn't in Russian it would be impossible to guess. Say, someone could make similar thing in Chinese, but no one of us would understand unless they start to promote it widely on English resources.

Well, one thing is that they aren't going far with that, it's a russian server and seems like they want to stay it that way not going global. It was rather unpleasant conversation there I had with them. They do not see any difference between "freeware" and "public reason" nor do they care who did what. Talking civilized to them seem to be pointless. They consider that Discovery mod being free to download gives them right to do whatever they please with it, including removal of original credits and plastering their own names above.
Be nice if we just could just export our cheat banned player list over there. Let them deal with the scum,
because basically, they are around the same level morally ... Regardless of nationality.
