I don't mind mercs using a mix of weapons. The way I see it, they use their allies' guns, but they also loot the guns from the enemies that they kill. If it's free, mercs will take it and use it.
Now, the merc who flys around from guard base to guard base to buy the perfect weapons, he p***es me off.

Agreed. And if its an unfriendly weapon (like outcast aligned using tizonas) it had better drop from NPCs; or possibly have been bought from dealers with dubious ideals, such as mercs on the other side... for a steep price, and should be mentioned on forums for good measure.

Plus, I wouldn't consider it OORP or an Outcast to see a merc flying around with tizonas, inquire as to why he thought corsair weapons were better than outcast weapons, and shoot him if he gave an inadequate response.

a Merc with pirate weapons or in a pirate ship gets ordered to leave system or get shot....

in Liberty those are hired by the Navy :nono:

I decide whether to shoot or not based on their rep, and if the enemy guns are supplemental or they're the base of their loadout.

6.2 Out of Roleplay (OORP):
In-game tag seen before the name must match the ID as closely as possible. It is not allowed to have the tag not match ID category. For example, it is prohibited to have 'Police' tag and 'Pirate' ID.

Equipment used must match tag and ID as closely as possible. For example, it is not allowed for Corsairs to use Outcast ships and guns.

I know, because I had them on me in New Berlin and a corsair in the system requested I return them to him, which I did.

Corsair NPCs in Omega15 drop Tizona guns.. but not turrets... as far as I know

tizona turrets arent dropped by npcs, as far as i know. the one way u could have got them is, by killing someone in a pvp (a corsair obviously) who had the turrets unmounted, and u picked the loot. ive picked battlerazors, and infernos (for bs, yes) when i killed bs, in my bomber.

also, he got the bd bomber from request by the novapg. fine. but that means, being neutral to the BD guard, since its sold on mito 2. then, to acquire tizonas, he must have been green to the corsairs, otherwise they wont sell em. so yeah..

im only concerned he has coladas and infernos on one ship. that just doesnt fit with me either (i know, i know, i use the inferno as well, but at least i got a kusari bomber, 4 arches, and a sn. no more pirate guns, or ship -.- )

as for tag, many who have dealt with Proserpine know i am tagless, both the gunship as well as the bomber. its to state neutrality, that i work for the highest bidder, be he lawful or unlawful (though i have a perma contract with the SA/LSF, and have a natural tendency to help the outcasts, than the corsairs, simply cuz of the way i was treated in gamma, but hey, thats my merc's decision. deal with it:P)
