Once the bugs are worked out we can worry about tweaking stats.

Quote:- Turret zoom is disabled for small ships. Turret steer and the camera are now independent of each other.
One thing wonders me about it. WHen I try to turret steer. When I turn left/right camera also turns left/right. When I pitch down/up it doesn't. Is that intended?
intention: ( like in games like borderlands, arma, operation flashpoint, etc. )
- stabilized camera
- ship turns independly of the ship
- when you don t move the turrets, your view will remain fixed at where you look at and your turret view only reacts to your mouse input unaffected by the ships turning / rotation
it does not work like that atm... . currently - the turret is either still fixed to the ship ( in mouseflight [when you press spacebar] ) ... or the turret steer ADDs rotation to your turret VIEW ( meaning: you steer left and your camera pans left, too ... resulting in a great rotation )
---> this is not how it was meant to be!
but .... on the other hand - there may be concerns about balance if we actually managed to make a stabilized camera. - it might make it too easy for gunboats. ( it was the intention anyway )
for now - it seems that cannot be achieved though. - so it might be reverted to update 2 status.
