Wolfpack, (i know this sounds a tad insane) could u advertise the polaris mod on the disco server?
Also, Denier u need to change the Capships a bit. They need to be more like the Capships in 4.79 with the stronger shields.
Also, could you incorporate the 'deathwish AI mod' and/or the 'spinning planets mod' into polaris? Because that is one thing FL lacks, even discovery and that is realism

I worked so hard on that banner, and look how they ruined it. Photoshop could've resized it without any loss of quality or distortion. But what the hell... at least they've uploaded it. Now all I have to do is wait for someone to offer me their hosting services. Something tells me this is gonna be a loooong wait.

I fixed the pix's. I understand the hard work people put into their labor of love, but we @ The Lancers Reactor have to work within the confines of our own code that runs the show. We never claim to be "state of the art" of websites, but the community appreciates the services we provide them. I didn't conscientiously attempt to "ruin it." I was in a hurry to get the information up in lights. I figured that was more important. PNG's can not be used...period. That's why JPG's are used pretty much exclusively. See the updated posts about Polaris:
Discovery 4.78 includes all the interesting things like armor upgrades, scanners, tractor beams, chain guns, and makes Omicron Delta more accessible. Also numerous other goodies i cant remember.
Could you base polaris on Discovery 4.78? It is much more feature-packed, just take the non-FL ships out.
IMO that would make Polaris even more fun without spoiling it.
Bleh... armor upgrades would change the gameplay. That's what I'm trying to avoid.
By the way, the cruise speed is already 350, it's just that the speedometer can't go above 300 in Polaris. Igiss modified it in Discovery 4.78 to show the real speed somehow.
