I remember a long time ago when me and my cuz would pirate the sigmas for hours and on weekends we would stay up almost all night pirating sigmas/kusari and then i left for a god few months and came back and RR was on the rise and FAST. and now to this applying for official status. man now i wish i had stayed for the whole ride. good luck.

Good to see some of the "best" Corsair enemies try to step their game up!

Some hopefully constructive input from my side:
-i always had a "problem" that the renegades are too Rorry centric so to say- i mean your writeup is really perfect for the Rorry character but it somehow always reads to me as "Rorry and his not so important sidekicks". What i mean is if it weren't for Rorry as a charismatic leader his renegades would have no reason to be and might just join any other random pirate/mercenary faction. Maybe if you can put some insights in your writeup where you get all the corsair/gallia hating rheinland pirates from so your folks have a motivation to stick together if the king somehow dies for real.

-how do your supply lines work if you are more or less operating in the two opposite ends of sirius?

-one of my personal pet peeves(that applies to many other factions;)) :the good standing with rheinlands pirate factions...why would any faction let an upstart group fish in their pond? You take away their buisness and you cannot offer more than money or fighting the lawfuls(and they would have the possibility to have the money if you weren't faster than they are -and if they had all that money they were able to buy better equipment and more personel to fight on their own). I mean...that's the main reason gangs have turf wars...they want to have their area completly under their control if possible

-ZOI: for piracy you should add the diplomancy to kusari, liberty and bretonian factions as the 2 systems out of rheinland actually include Honsu, Texas and Omega 3 (Omega 3 is not yet "really" Bretonia but you meet the brets alot there). So maybe you can get on halfways neutral grounds with Bretonia? The other option would be to simply stick to Rheinland +1 system as there are many factions with a smaller ZOI...

last but not least: the ID should include the correct ZOI and also stop you from allying up with any lawfuls.Any ideas what tech you would want for your ID? Brigand,Border worlds, Civilian +??

I'd like to see more of "Rorry and his Men" and not "Rorry the Gypsy ruler" if possible. Other than that, the Scorpion gunboat is probably not going to happen due to many reasons.

I don't think official status is something you want for a faciton like the Renegades. It revolves around a single guy, played by Veygaar. I think that if he leaves for some reason, the faction is gone as well.

Add that up to the... interesting combinations of tech, used all over Sirius, this seems more like a huge SRP request then an actual faction request.

I personally think the motivations for shooting the GRN are odd, perhaps naive, but not really grounded. Same goes for the whole nomad tech thingy. Governments are trying this stuff for many years. And some "brilliant" guy comes along and fixes it? Nah, don't think so. I helped you with straightning some nomad facts out, but I don't support the acquisition of the Scorpion.

Don't worry right now we're looking at the "self centered guy" issue, the transmission of the "haven" was somehow a way to "turn page" in the inner faction RP in a more "we're our own masters". Its not fully "cooked" already, but its a work in progress....


besides, i remember we had a funny chatter on what else could mean |RR besides "Rorry's Renegades", anyway, even with the Rp change, is proper to think that the "Rorry" character will be still important as a "faction founder"
