I don't think pictures of how much cargo hold they take will be any more indicative than a number, but thank you for the feedback. It is unfortunate that the data may not be entirely accurate of what the server actually uses though.

So my fighters effectively can't cloak?

So goes my dreams about my Hayabusa scout-spy actually having technology that will allow it to spy better.

Anybody here thinks the fuel consumption could use a nerf?

Fighter cloaking needs an adjustment.

Obviously they can do it in RP

(Those two Valkryie's that helped Trent and Juni for no apparent reason)

It needs some sort of different system...

I don't know how it could be balanced though.

Maybe cruise speed is slowed for smaller ships when using the light cloak, at a lesser expense of fuel, therefore having a longer cloak time?

Cloaking device is useless, atm.

First, it needs some time charge, and during this time you have no shield.

If you are cloaked the H-Fuel will run out fast.

and Second.

If you deactivate the cloak, you have for a small time no shield. So 20 or 30 seconds.

Which is enough time to burn you down.

Edit:
You have no CMs, ergo a beautiful target for a single Cruiser/BS Missile.

I don't know about this whole "cloak sucks" thing. My Bret Liner can stay cloaked for 41 minutes at a time now. It's pretty fun:D

As for fighters, I agree. Take away the charge time, make it instant, and make the cargo space it takes up 5 or 10. So fighters can have a minute or two of cloak.

Is it possible for a ship to pass survey information?

Say you have ship A that has a survey module and maybe cloak, but no jumpdrive. He sneaks in, does his survey thing, and gets the code.

Can he then tell that code or transfer it somehow to another ship that just has a jump drive, so he can either jump there himself or jump a whole fleet there?

Basically, does the survey module/jump drive combination only work if you have one ship mounting both modules, or can you split it up as I described?

Therefore one could make a freakin' mint selling jump drive codes. And since the coords apparently don't expire after use, they can be used many times for the week or month that they last.

You could even sell opposing factions the same code and lol when they warp in on top of each other.

Oh dear. I have to make a Corvo now. This is gonna be GREAT!!!

5A. The larger the cloak, the more it takes to cloak. Fighter cloak takes about 10 seconds. Cap ship one takes like 30 seconds. While it's charging, it drains fuel too, so, most fully equipped fighters can't actually cloak.

Bummer. I hoped, that fighter cloaking would be efficent...

Even an unequipped Osprey can only cloak for 20 seconds then.
And 85 seconds on a Collector isn't that much either.

Fighter devices should only need 1 unit every 2 seconds in my opinion.
