Alaska is not a guard system, and only guard system's can be purchased. The price at last count i heard was 1.5 billion to be purchased and customised, and that does not take affect till next upgrade. Soooo LSF cannot shoot under 30 player in Alaska.

Exactly one billion for purchase, upgrades are priced on uniqueness.
It would be REALLY NICE if Alaska got guard system status, since it is in effect Liberty's guard system. Secret bases, hushed up prisons, all that jazz. And if we kill the BHG (pff) in there, it gets even closer. Don't complain about the Order presence, go to Dreadnought Captana in Omicron-85 and you'll see Nomads attack it here and there- one little presence is okay.

Sarcasm aside, Ryoken, If you could explain how we are control whores, would make it easier to understand why you hate us so much:)
I'm with Sn!per, they can't fix what they don't know. Liberty is actually the loosest of the houses, and has to put up with the most junk. I'm astounded what can happen in New York some days. I fully appreciate what Sn!per, kingvalliant, Turkish, Titan, zapp, etc. have done to shape up Liberty into something to be taken seriously. When someone gets banned from Liberty, they actually avoid the place, unlike if you get banned from anywhere else, in which case they'll usually just keep going through because there is no police presence to stop them.
Alaska especially sees a lot of ooRP dense activity, people using it like a highway as opposed to a shortcut for setup, or, heaven forbid, a system with dozens of RP opportunities! The Black Squadron and on occasion Corsairs will come through and give them a fight, but most of what they get is trash. It IS Liberty's guard system, you shouldn't be able to prance on through with your Adv. Train with 5000 units of cardamine.
Why not make it available to purchase ANY system? It would come down to
the factions RP application to the Admins. For example if Alaska were up for
sale, and the Corsairs applied for purchase the admins could refuse quite easily.
However if LSF applied to buy it, they could enforce the "rules" that everyone
knows but only the minority actually follows.
What about the idea of the Admins periodically putting up a system for sale?

I'ld give them ability to purchase it just so they can install some peace in it.
Alaska shouldn't be public. But it should be open for those willing to take great risks.

"those willing to take great risks" does not mean everyone and their dog because you can just respawn, for those unclear on the concept. They're out there, trust me...
At the very least the BHG should be removed from that system, it lends to the stupid idea they can go everywhere for whatever reason with no one complaining...
NOBODY IS ALLOWED IN ALASKA OR ZONE 21 <strike>EXCEPT</strike>:
Navy officers of Captain rank and above
Army officers of Colonel rank and above
LSF agents of Deputy Department Supervisor rank and above
LPI officers of Captain rank and above, SWAT agents, AND Detectives.
(The last line is my own suggestion, the others are from the LCS Directory, subsection GLC, Paragraph 5, Line 17)
