Madame Cross, esteemed colleagues,

With this communication I speak for all the staff, Gallic or Sirian, currently stationed at our resorts in Gallia, both as subdirector and as gallic citizen.
The decision that you claim was made in agreement with the entire board was actually made without consulting me or the workers' union representatives. All this raises a series of doubts about her work and the decision-making capacity of the other sub-directors.

In recent days we have asked ourselves the reason for such a drastic decision. Over the past year both Sectors have been ravaged by conflicts: the Rheinland-Kusari war, the Rheinland civil war and most recently the vile Kusari attack on the Gallic people. Just to mention the major conflicts. In none, none of these cases has the company resorted to this staff redeployment mechanism. Why right now, as the Sector is experiencing a moment of relative stability and peace, do you, Miss Cross, decide to interfere so heavily in the lives of hundreds of people?

Perhaps for the first time since the end of the Gallic War, your employees, Sirian and Gallic, felt truly united. Why on earth would a Libertonian Captain or a Bretonian Maitre Hospitalier give up their lives in Gaul to be transferred somewhere else without any guarantee of their job? Why should a captain give up his salary and benefits to earn as much as a humble employee? Why should entire families already established in the Gallic reality be uprooted, creating innumerable hardships? And why should a Gallic employee be considered a second-class worker, not guaranteeing him the same conditions and the same treatment should another conflict actually break out in the area? Would you abandon your employees simply based on their nationality?

The suspicion that lingers in the discontent of these hundreds of people, Miss Cross, is that not only these decisions were made out of sheer incompetence, but also because of the racism that still lurks towards Gaul, its citizens and the workers who reside there. And of the two, I fear that the second is much more detrimental to the image of this company, a company that prides itself on being the only one able to work with all the realities of our two Sectors.

We expect this relocation to be suspended instantly and to provide clear and comprehensive explanations to everyone, including myself. Don't force us into more egregious actions, for the sake of this company.

Hello Mr. Balzac, and valued Employees

Your Letter Suprised me but I will answer it as you are Right that you and the Employees have a right to know why I made that Decision. First and foremost I want to tell you and the Employees that their Jobs are Safe no matter where they are Transferred to within the Company. You know that I have a ZERO Discrimination Policy and that I don't tolerate any form of Racism and Mobbing because of Religion, Sexuality, or Origin within the Company. That you accuse me of such things Deeply Hurt me as I have experienced such things myself in the past more than one time. My only Concerne here is the Major Threat to the lives of my employees and their families when the Signs are Clear that a Storm is Forming on the Horizon.

As for your Claim of Peace in the Region, I have to ask you if you take your job as Director of the Security Department seriously enough or if you are Blind to the Reality? There is an Embargo Declared by Both Bretonia and Kusari on Gallia and Skirmishes in the Tau Systems. Both Houses have been Threatened with Harsh Punishment for anyone that Breaks the Embargo. There is no such thing as a "Sector is experiencing a moment of relative stability and peace" as you described it. The Threat of another War is there and we have to be Prepared.

Now to the Claim that we didn't do such an evacuation during the Previous Wars in Sirius. We have always Evaluated the Risk of war and if it would be Wise to Evacuate our Employees. The thing that has changed this time was that I have Information from a High Ranking Member of the Gallic Government that the Risk for our Non-Gallic Employees Increased with the Return of the Enclave to the Government and society of Gallia. During none of the Previous Conflicts did a High Ranking Member of a House Government Advise me to Pullback our Non-Native Personal. If you take this Fact and the Truth about the Highly Xenophobic Nature of the Former Enclave Members that are now also Part of the New Government with the Fact about the Turmoil in the Taus and the Blockades then we have a Situation as we had it never before.

As for the Relocation of the Employees, I can tell you that no one is Forced to Leave Gallia and that we will do our Best to Protect every Employee that Decides to Stay there. But the Fact is also that there is a Real Threat and that the only thing I did is to Warn our Employees about it. We won't Terminate any Contract and we also Guaranty that no one will get a Reduction of his or her Salary. And of course, we will Treat any Gallic Citizen the same way as we did the Employees that decided to Return to Sirus both Personally and Financial. And if Director Balzac Wishes we can Give him the Task to watch over Riviera and its Employees Personally and make sure that everyone is treated Fair and Equal there.

It is regrettable to actually realize that what was suspected corresponds to reality. Denying the evidence and adding insults certainly does not help to put it in a good light in front of the eyes of her employees here in Gallia, eyes already obscured by discontent towards her.

We will try to reply, point by point, to your letter to show you all the inconsistencies and errors poured into it.

In the first notice she warns everyone: "[..] but we cant Guaranty that you will be Hired to the Same Conditions as Before [...]". Now, instead, she assures that no contract will be modified, let alone reduced or limited. Which of the two statements should your employees trust?

She mocks me about my "ignorance" regarding the current geopolitical situation. This is an example of how little she has read and considered the letter we delivered to her. In our previous message we talked about "[...] relative calm and peace [...]" because no House is currently involved in internal or external conflicts. No declared war is menacing the lives of the Sirians and no real danger is currently threatening our workers.
When all of this was actually happening, when the lives of its employees were truly at stake, no action was taken.

You consider my skills as director of security. I would like to remind you that attacks on our convoys have dropped dramatically since I took over this division and that I drew from my personal fund to arm the last squadrons and hire the new captains to replace the hodgepodge of human waste that was sucking the salary out of the company accounts. My men and I went out of our way to avoid bloodbaths like those of the Martinique and the Mackinac. In the meantime, what are you doing? You tried to hide criminals like Seabourne from justice.

Lastly but probably the most important point, the information leak: in the first message you speak of "[...] an anonymous source [...]" which has now become a "High Ranking Member of the Gallic Government". Really.
Tell us: when would you have undertaken this discussion with this elusive representative of the Gallic Union? Why was no sub-director informed of this interview? Why should we trust the veracity of such information without knowing anything about the source?

Having clarified the hypocrisy of your answer, Director, we make you aware of our requests:

1) we want evidence of this discussion, if it took place in writing, or for you to personally testify here at Riviera with all the staff on what was said and/or decided during this meeting. We all have the right to know what has been talked about, considering that the future of hundreds of people is at stake according to when discussed with this elusive member of the government.

2) your employees of Gallic nationality, myself included, demand a formal apology for having defined the government that represents them as a jumble of xenophobes and fascists. The Gallic Union represents billions of citizens, finally relieved of being represented by a strong and cohesive government. Are they too dangerous xenophobic imperialists? And if so, why are you holding secret meetings with members of such a dangerous government?

If these requests are not heeded, the strike of your employees will begin here in Gallia: Riviera and all the other offices here in Gaul will close and all the Liners present there or transiting through the Gallic Union territory will be diverted to New Paris and placed in lock-down. Remember that the SEC captains answer to me, especially those stationed here.

Please be reasonable, Miss Cross. Don't lead us to more extreme or more deleterious actions for this company.

Oyi You Two, I guess I get to add my two cents too

As the chairwoman Caitlyn is empowered to ensure Orbitals continued operations sector wide, this includes taking actions that some might find unfavorable, but ultimately ensure that Orbitals shareholders lose no revenue, the shareholders being who we all are held accountable to.

Bluntly a strike will be unfortunate, partially because of employment clause 129.28 subsection J though W, also because I will happily redirect ONE's on-going contribution to SEC's operation account, and I will lobby the other sub-directors to do the same. I encourage you, and all other active Gallic Staff, to continue flight operations as it would be unfortunate if I have to tootle my way up there to, force the resumption of operations.

Now, moving onto Orbitals Staff and Personnel within Gallic Space. Similar to already on-going agreements with Orbital and the Insurgency Government regarding the Barbados, Caitlyn is simply obligating that Staff meet with societal expectations laid out by the ruling government. This should not be all that unexpected, especially following the Kusari invasion, that the presiding government would obligate Orbital to ensure that "national security" interests are met. If anything you should be happy that the option of relocation is even being provided. Back in Chairman Pines days y'all would have gotten a pink slip and no reason.

I appreciate that you felt somehow left out of the decision making process; but in the end the decision was made without even our input. This change will happen regardless of your feelings of what is subjectively right and fair and just.

I must admit that I am particularly amazed, both by the veracity of his words and by the invitation he received. Believe me, it is not for everyone, much less for a Sirian, to receive the invitation of a Maréchal.
I suppose he has something to discuss with us in the first place.
I would say that your proposal, Miss Cross, is excellent: we must try to put aside the conflicts of recent days in order to make a common front. If we can achieve anything for this Company, now is the time.

May I suggest that you arrive here with a less conspicuous vessel? Not all employees are thrilled to see you, a smaller vehicle than the Red Velvet would be less recognizable and would be able to maintain an aura of confidentiality at the meeting. It will also make the approach to Orleans'villa easier.

Good Day to all Employees and Directors.

as I was on the way to Kusari today I was Intercepted by a Molly in Leeds at First. The Pilot seemed very new to his Business as he Was Clearly Outgunned by the Velvet in his Litle Heavy Fighter. He didn't Demand that Much and was pretty Friendly so we paid this time and made it a case for the Insurance Company. All in all, it was a Pretty Nice Encounter with that Molly and the Guests had something nice to see as he Flew Past the Windows of the Observation Deck.

The Things became much more Interesting in Kuari itself as we were Intercepted by a Member of the Gen'an Crysantemums right after we Jumped into Kyushu. This one seemed to know that we always have a full bar to Help those Thirsty Lady's. This Pilot Called Furutani Izanami was really a Nice one, and she seemed hungry so we invited her to have dinner with us. She even Accepted my Rule to come Unarmed, we had an Interesting Dinner and talked about a lot of stuff while we enjoyed some good food. This Pilot was really Nice and a Good Guest, I think this Gen'an could maybe become a good friend of Steph and mine, And maybe a Valuable Link to the Gen'an In Total. I would again like to Advice all Capitans to have a Well-Filled Bar on Board when they fly to Kusari and to not Treat them with Hostility.

You are Right as this wedding was a Suprise for my Lovely Wife Stephanie we hadn't all that nice events that Brides usually Have before a Wedding. Also, there's some minor housekeeping I wanted to notify you of. I'll be taking command of the Legendary Stagecoach. For a little while at least, she hasn't gotten a whole lot of love recently in their mixed drinks department and customer satisfaction is substandard. Which is saying something even for my lowly goals. Course our old pal Brandon Bancroft is still alive and kicking but he'll be taking a well deserved sabbatical to help burn down some of that vacation time he's accrued over centuries years of dedicated service.
