Today, I took my Evo-1B Charon out for a combat test.
Found a Gas Miner Karasu in Sigma-19 that I decided to test the Charon against. It went well!
Preliminary tests showed that it doesn't handle Krakens very well, but a mix of Wyrms and Debilitators worked great. It's probably adapted to IMG weapons and Wyrms work a lot like Vampires, I guess. Some of our Sabres are modified that way too.
It handles well. It doesn't feel quite as responsive as the Sabre, but still quick enough to dodge mines.
Speaking of mines, it seems to have adapted to them really well, along with vertical turning; its wingtip weapon mounts can fire straight up. I lured the Karasu into chasing me vertically and eating a few mines.
Its weapons are underpowered compared to our Sabre, but its powerplant gives it more firepower than a Switchblade.
When I get a chance I'll run the Charon through some fleet battle tests.
Overall, the IMG made a very solid ship. But if this was what they made into the Nyx... why isn't the Nyx more effective?
Maybe we're just that much better, hehe!
Maybe we should capture a Nyx and run the same testing.

Subject: Patrol report.
I started it from Cali in Tau 23. Thought that I can patrol our smuggler route in Tau's. But few min later my scanner detected four hostile contacts, they were near Java. Three of them was from unknown group IMGC (or something like this, it's strange that I can't find any info about them in my ships memory).
In fact, they were a quite lads. So, they ran away, maybe mining or convoy. I stood near Java and had a nice talk with a member of the IMG D division. Pity, that those miners can't get who we are in fact and even don't know how's we are powerfull. He docked and I moved my ship to Orkney, to patrol it too. When I was somewhere near the Reunion station, I was detected by two Mercernaries with the SMP| tags . They called me sniffer and well, it was impolite from their side. More than that they also told me that they are working for the Colonials Goverment and hunting Outcasts in Tau's. Well, I was a bit confused. I still can't get, how are these Gallians, which already in war against their King (who is a powerfull one too) finds time to work as a Mercernaries.
Anyway, they told me that they wants to cut my head too. Foolish mercs....
But I can say that they are rather good in fight, another strange thing, both of them had sirians ships.
The battle was equal. But anyway, it was a bit hard for me, so I called captain Garrison to assist. Anyway, SMP got another fighter which also entered fight.
The battle was hard. Me and Brand was near to finish the first enemie when Brands Sabre was destroyed by SNAC from SMPs bomber. I took his escaping pod and continue the fight alone. Few min later the first enemie get down. After that I switch to SMPs bomber. He was destroyed too.
After that, I tried to fight with the last one. But well, 3 pilots with [LCOG] tags entered fight, even SMP guy tried to stop them. My poor Sabre which was already badly damaged in fight with SMP got another pack of fire. So, I decided to escape from the fight. Lucky, I could reach to Kirkwall alive.
The Corsairs seem to have acquired at least one Charon. Though I ruined that one, we should keep watching them; the Charon is far more agile than most of their fighters, and requires a different strategy to take down if it's flown well.
Thankfully, this one wasn't.
From there, Ramirez and I went our seperate ways. He, I believe, pursued some Samura transports into Dublin. I continued my journey to Liberty where I met up with Poltergeist. Our patrols were cut short, however; Liberty's patrols were quite active today. Two LSF in California, and two Navy capitals and what appeared to be a Police gunboat in Pennsylvania. We decided to postpone further operations.

I followed your orders capitano Carrera. Along with that kusari chick Hayashi, i flew to that omicron 80. No matter how long we were patrollin' that entrance into Gallia, no Anonymous Zoner came stop by to say hi.
But at least I had some nice talk with my fellow sodales. And that boy... that Joseph Abu- somethin' ... He is amusing. Cocky little bastard he is. *laughs* If he is going to make it on high ranked officer, i might wanna just kill myself. There is no way that cocky brat is going to order me around.
Other than that, nothing new in Gallia. I put one of my scannin' drones on one of those closest planets, in that gallic hole, called Lorine... or how was it. Admin J. should receive info which that drone collected soon.

Victor Reyes reporting. Today, I joined Aggro Santos for a quick patrol in Tau-23. We found an IMG miner near Java Station and we tried to make him buy some cardamine, because you know, the more they take it, the more we control them. Anyway... seems that he didn't want to risk anything so he called some defensive units that engaged us pretty fast. The odds were against us from the beginning. Three of them in very heavy fighters against two of us. I used the nanobots to the max and I was almost dry when Renge Hayashi came to the rescue. Or at least that's what I thought. He managed to lift the pressure from my Sabre. Due to mechanical problems to the weapons system, Aggro had to retreat so we were again two against three. Then, disaster struck, Hayashi's ship is destroyed and I had to tractor the escape pod and make a run for it. Lucky me, they didn't follow us to Tau-37 and I arrived at Malta in one piece.

We did some missions in Alpha, to eliminate the stray BHG Patrols, when a loud mouth Corsair, a sidekick of Tito's, started blabbering.
He revealed his position and I moved in to engage. Joseph sat by and watched, unfortunately the battle did not go my way, luckily it did not go his way either.
"Administrator, as you know the Sirius Cartel has a contract with the 101st and the Maltese Nation to aid in the security of Outcast operations within Tau-23 and Tau-37. However it appears this war has spilled over to Kusari aswell with the ICMG aiding Kusari Forces.
Cartel and allied forces in the system of Kyushu intercepted and destroyed a Kusari patrol consisting of two gunboats, a bomber and several fightercraft, all but a single fighter was dispatched after several minutes of intense combat. To my suprise and annoyance a member of the Independant Communist Miners's Guild came and aided the Kusari forces but was shot down aswell by our fighters.
The intent of the Kusari battlegroup was never uncovered, but we believe they were onroute to Tau-23 to attack Outcast and BMM vessels operating within the area before the threat was neutralized.
After the battle it was clear to us that eventually a Kusari capital ship would get lucky and possibly destroy our smuggling vessels onboard Cali Base.
Thus i would like to request the use of Cape Wrath for our Transports to make port in safety while our Combat wings continue to focus in Tau-23 to keep the enemy forces at bay.
That is all i have to say at this time.

Today i was called into space on the reports of 3 Daumann traders being tresspassing and thus deemed KOS. They entered Gallia, and i waited at the omnicron 80 jumphole together with MNS-Moonlightning before realising they were heading for Orkney.
Senor Abudsai and me rushed to Orkney to catch them. On our way there, i ordered senorita Renge to rendevouz with us in Orkney. She was in the Omegas at the time.
We did eventually catch one of the 3, and destroyed him. Sadly, the others escaped by sneaking through Lewis.
Later this evening, I and senorita Renge, caught a freelancer who had deserted the BAF. He still had the BAF transmitter, but was flying an spatial. We caught him undocking from Valetta, with no docking permission to begin with. After a long discussion we decided to execute him for lieing, tresspassing and attempt of gathering information with shady intentions. Again, misfortune was with us, as he barely managed to get to the freeport in Tau 37. He has be ordered to never set foot on an outcast base again. His behaviour seems to reflect a condition commonly known as "the lolwut discease".
