What if Goonsquad ruins Star Citizen like they ruined EvE?
It is not technically possible. Eve have no instances. SC PvP would be ruled by the best organized PvP teams not by numbers. Forums and internet bragging and trolling are kinda irrelevant concerning the game balance. Huge groups would be able to control huge numbers of instances indeed but this does not mean that smaller groups wont be able to claim their own and hold it even versus people with 100 times bigger fleet as long as they can smash them in the instance.

the dogfighting module, which release was planned at the end of this month, is delayed for a couple of months, hence the alpha release for subscribers and the entire game will be probably delayed.

Freelancer development story again?
More as, they just want to release a more finished product, that way peoples expectations are exceeded with what they're given, they just need to be more patient.
Currently unable to consistently be present in the Community due to life constraints.

they say that. but maybe they have nothing to show.
EA said that BF4 is ready to release and we all know that is still buggy.
I do not believe developers, especially if they took my money and did not fulfill their promises.
If you have seen their showcasing of the Dogfighting in the livestream you'd know that they've got something to show.
And they didn't take your money, you just threw it into their face and expected something good to come out from it.
I mean if I don't trust a developer I'm hardly going to give them money over Kickstarter or Preorder...
“This font is good people said, this font is awesome others said, I say it works well enough to waste 2 seconds of your life reading this.”
I gave them the money at the beginning, in a hope that something might come out of it good. They presented a plan in which I believed. They claimed that they need 2 mil to finish it, then that 10 mil. They got 35 millions, and when it came time to release something, as they have promissed, they say is not ready. This aroused my serious concerns whether this project will be completed at all.
Would not that be like with a Freelancer, when release date was moved through years, until in the end it turned out, that there is nothing, and if not Microsoft this game would never appear.
I know that with the increase in funding, ambitions and plans also increased. But many developers went bankrupt when ambitions outgrew possibilities.
I think first they should give a game with the features planned from the start, and then work on its improvement and for a year or two release version 2.0.
We'll see how much it will be those couple of months.
I hope my 110$ won't go to void.

i actually dont think the goons ruined EvE. but then i dont get involved in nullsec BS. in fact, i think all of the nullsec BS is hilarious. and the goons.... well they are hilarious.
i dont think EvE would be even half as interesting if the goons werent making havoc across nullsec

But they released that Hangar Module, right? Does that work?
Nice it is time to download it and check it. I hope to see some of you around.
10 GB for alpha module is massive.
