Really nice ship man....really. Have to agree with the mount a cargo pod like the Trains have, if possible.
My vote for a name.
WoodPecker or Hummingbird....somehow the long nose of the ship made me think of those two.

So I have everything wrapped up on this model, texture, cmp, hardpoints. All that works ingame, looks good and tight. I made this sur for it and when I try to use it ingame with the sur freelancer crashes every time. I'm kind of stumped at the moments, advice would be appreciated.

I ran it through the concavity tool in Milkshape, so all of it is convex.

I'd go with Gannet for one reason and one reason only, the ship looks exactly like the bird when it dives. Regardless of the name, if you need someone to infocard it give me a yell.

It seems a bit big, if you ask me. Almost more like a small transport rather than a freighter. I guess it can - and should? - be sized down a bit though.
Besides that I really like how it looks. Very nice model, still close to the Civ line while offering something new instead of sticking to the normal style of the fighters. (And I support naming it Kiwi.)

For the size I made a little comparision of the Sabre compared to the Dromedaries size:

Well it's easy to decide the size: it's supposed to bear a cargo pod, right? So its size is actually determined by the size of the cargo pod Smile

I don't seed a signature.

That purple box is a "triangular"/grey/standard cargopod.
