Hmm the only thing i see (if you addressed it sorry) is pirating food transports into Crete. It is something that wouldn't be done. On the way out maybe and i mean maybe but there are too few traders willing to run into Gamma without a good reason other than artifacts. So risking any halt to food coming into Gamma would not be worth the profit.
Ah, sorry, there are only two kinds of traders we don't pirate: artifact smugglers, and Crete food transports. The OTC as well, as they are part of the OPG (as was pointed out to me in-game).
We need more people to be drawn to the less popular factions. gaians, hessians, unioners, hogosha, bundschuh, farmer's alliance, golden chrysanthemums, etc. EVERYONE wants to be a corsair, an outcast, a liberty naval officer - there's just too many of them already, and I think the other factions are suffering because of it.
I'd highly suggest making this group a sub-faction of one of the existing corsair groups.
...
The thing is, Telbasta, these characters are Corsairs already. It's not really because they're the almighty Corsairs, but they are the closest thing to represent the characters we've created. These guys are short tempered, effusive characters. They aren't into politics. They are people who gave up their ordinary lives to go after what they wanted.
Choosing a faction and creating characters for it would be to us the equivalent of choosing a ship and make a story to justify flying it. It just wouldn't be the same. None of us want this to be a faction the way you understand it here. We are that group of Titans you've just seen passing by. Nothing more.
The factions you've cited, while they each have a very interesting RP to them, they are too focused in the politics of their regions to favor the characters. At least that was our take on it.

Unfriendly to Zoners works.:)
Your not at war with them, you don't go out of your way to attack and fight them, you just..lighten their credit balance's now and then.

Nothing wrong with that.:)
Si, they feel that we owe them a great debt of gratitude for food that cannot be afforded with ease, yet when I come to balance out this debt of character by a small contribution to level the cost they take offense!

It's a 100% Corsair ship which should be in your rooster. Decurion too, once it gets fixed.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
