With that I actually agree, I think it's well within RP to change your name as a say smuggler or a known pirate when you're getting the heat on you. If you can live with the 2 mil price, which ain't much, and the fact you have to explain to all your buddies all over again who you are, it's a good thing. Though when it's done it should be done in RP, not just a random ooRP thing so you can avoid getting captured or something. Same reason in RP, but at least people can do it properly.

People that call Navy pilots idiots for responding to a call for help aren't too bright themselves. As are smugglers announcing their actions on wide-band comms.

That said -- Titan? Lighten up, dude. I know that there's no legal requirement to be nice, and that you think scowling at people diminishes the flames the [LN] gets, but this behavior is gonna give you an ulcer.

Not really, I enjoy this^^ It's a nice vent to be honest when RL gets annoying. And some people are just asking for it. I don't mind stooping to their level if it helps my mates feel better, and it does. I never cared for anyone's opinion here so it hardly bothers me how they see me:P Even if I insult them, I never do so without a point, usually stating a logical reason as to why they were wrong. When I get illogical or stupid responses to that, than I fail to see why I should respect a person, and I do what I do.

Titan, You can beg all you want, but your continued responses only make the navy seem childish and overly sensitive. If you stopped responding all together to the perceived flames, it would already be over. The LN has a lot of potential, so stop wasting your time responding to these posts. Please remember that the reputation of the LN does depend considerably on your actions alone, both in game and in the forum. Try to be the bigger man...not the louder one.

This thread was supposed to be about something funny that happened...not about how the navy did or didn't do something wrong. A simple LOL would suffice.

The reputation of the LN, depends on a select group of people that keep posting flames in the forums, there's about 4-5 of them, always the same, I can even name them, as can every other Liberty lawful. As I said, I've had a policy of non caring before, before people started begging me to respond, since then they enjoy this much more. If I have to make a fool of myself for their enjoyment to rise, so be it. I can't say I care. Even as a fool, I am proud of it. In LN we deal with our own things, we sort our own problems and issues, especially if we get evidence of doing something wrong. Usually threads where we allegedly do something wrong pop up, without any evidence at all, always the same group of people posting it. So yeah, it gets annoying to folks, that's where I step in.

Its not even that deep really. Its just an id card, like your drivers license. You're still the same person with the same name.

Varyag you have no idea how much I'd want to mate, I never really did, same reason as why Razr never posts, but once long ago I started posting, tried to argue reasonably against these things, point out that we in fact didn't do some of the things they accuse us of, they called me a liar even when I presented evidence, so I said to hell with it, and posted a flame. Every single person I knew, told me that I did the right thing, told me some people "deserve" to be told such things. So I kept going, people now aren't annoyed any longer by these threads. I show people my point, through sarcasm and insults, and I don't care if it goes across or not. Point is I make those people who actually matter something to me, mainly the LN, LSF and LPI, Keepers and a select few individuals that I know...happy. They're not annoyed, in fact now they can laugh and have a good time. As long as they who ask me to keep doing this don't say otherwise, I'll keep doing what I do. Till I get banned. Which I tried to do once only to have, guess what...an admin tell me "Don't do that again, but I'll let it slide because some people deserve to be told things like that". So yeah. Really couldn't care less what people that try to oppose things despite of the evidence do. I always tried to act reasonably before, flames were horrific, stooped to their level one day, flames ceased to the point of being rather rare. Aside from the fact that you think this is ruining my reputation, which I don't care about, can you see a bad side to actually keeping your friends from quitting and making them enjoy their time here?

Edit: Also i'm not talking about this thread in particular, its not the thread that annoyed people, it was Dab's response.
