The recurring trend seems to be that most people don't bother with Cursive writing.

Why's that? I'd assume it's just simpler to write that way but Cursive flows better and you can write pretty quickly.

Dunno, I adapted my non-Cursive to be faster than Cursive. In fact I started writing in non-cursive only because I found it easier, faster and more readable than my cursive when I gotta write fast.

In today's age, there's not a call for writing stuff by hand anymore, but pretty much everyone still learns how to write even if they don't get to use that skill very often.

EDIT: Oh and if you're fluent in multiple languages, share your handwriting in the other ones as well.
