Quote:we may go about filling those blanks so that when 4.85 comes out there is a background worked ahead of time that help give these caps a home in a Role Play server.
Call me hardheaded, but that's exactly what I am against.

I look forward to seeing the outcome, in any case. (As much as I may not like what it may be.)

' Wrote:Those 'Alien Origin' infocards are relics of a time when RP wasn't so scrutinised. I think Dusty has replaced them all with something appropriate, which is good. After all, the only aliens in FL are the Dom'Kavosh and Nomads, and neither construct ships like that.

Consider this then:

There is the Dom'Kavosh that left behind the nomads and artifacts. A race far advanced of us mere humans.

Then there is the early Dom'Kavosh - thousands or even millions of years before they left Sirius - a time when THEY were the primitive explorers.

Space is big, and perhaps an 'alien wreck' is nothing more than a primitive Dom'Kavosh ship that has been floating all this time.

It would be like the Voyager space probe - floating away into infinity until discovered by someone...

Think about it.
