Alright, had too many questions on this.

The ore field does drop ore, but it is slow. You need to apply with SC to get the ''proper'' bonus and the ID line, depending on the ID.

Sounds really interesting.
Sadly I am on family weekend atm.
Will try to get IMG ID into this Sunday, Monday.
I hope that the bonus (for 1000 SC) is valid for a few weeks, if not months.
1000 SC is damn hard to get and Omicrons is not really that easy to pull off, even for organised groups.

Plus: the investment is like... 2,5 billion... which is also not really too cheap.
