No, it's me asking for more customization for Bustards.

OF COURSE Bustard is going to melt in any serious combat. That's a given. I just want it to shoot slightly more shiny guns whilst it goes on to its glorious demise.

BCs have Thrusters. Bustard does not. It's a Battleship in terms of cost and maneuvering, and possesses no CD either. bad idea to create cruiser light code weapons. There is some reason why i didnt create codeweapon for light slot.

First, If its stronger compared to house primaries, everyone will use that codeweapon instead of house primaries
Second, If its weak compared to house primaries, no one will use it.
Third, We already have Anti-Snub, Anti-Shield and Standart Primaries so no need to have more of them

Forget about the whole "stronger/weaker" idea. They just need to be more specialized and consume more energy! Examples:
- some force_ori based medium-range turrets, where the force_ori will make them both good and bad on certain ships, depending on turret placement;
- some more energy-hungry ones for extra range and lower dps, so ships like the Bustard (who have the core) may take advantage of that;
- some that spray 3-4 projectiles, inaccurate at medium range, good for close combat;

I am completely against the idea of having a "best-in-slot" weapon, so we are on one page here.

Well, considering Bustard have HUGE core and few slots, some light cruiser slot codeguns that consume a lot of energy would restrict em to Bustards, as no cruiser would use em.

And to use Bustard in house space you need rp autorization anyway, so i dont see why Bustard cant be buffed a lil to be at least viable, considering its sheer cost and size.

Another ship i would like to see having some love is corvo... so sad looking to my corvos...

*sigh*

and about making new bustard-usable guns npc-loot-droppable, drop rates need be checked first... this joke of "cap code guns farming" gone way too far already. So far 0 person reported got one

And all cap using factions logged quite some time on it

For god sake, Bustard dont need inventing and coding specific code guns or new weapons, just give it more Secondary slots, or turn existing slots to Battleship Secondary slots with better Gun coverage and it will be fine, simple and easy solution that dont need lot of work.
It will still be Civilian Carrier/liner, it will just have some decent chance to win then.
