Quite the commotion you stirred yesterday arriving in a Donau. Guess we should be glad we lost none of our people on the boarding crew were wounded beyond a few scrapes and bruises. Either way, your Donau is on lock down and will not be leaving the Freeport until we can ensure that it is safe. Once we have done that, it will be moved in a secure holding pattern to Corfu, were we will work alongside our allies to get it working better than ever. Until then, no one is to have access to that ship.

Short biography:
Its no so much to tell about myself. I graduated from the Aviation Academy, I served for a while in the police force, after 2 years I left. I become a Bounty Hunter due to financial difficulties. Flying from Freeport to Freeport hunting criminals for 3 years. Now i am Independence Zoner and trying to find my purpose in the life.

Well. We need defenders. If we won’t stand against the threats – and the past showed us that these threats are real; they exist – there won’t be much left that may be defended, right? So I’d like to offer my experiences and skills for the defense and the survival of ourselves. What would it be worth if we’d just sit here, hope and pray to not die within the next couple of seconds? Being anxious about to sleep because one could simply never wake up again?
Short biography:
I was born on Planet Honshu just like many generations of my family before me. My family runs a little company down there. It’s not even big enough to be worth mentioning, but it’s enough to live a decent life. Well, actually my parents wanted me to study business and even stay down on the planet to continue what they’re running. Against their expectations I went to the police when I was 16. I learnt everything there and discovered my passion for flying a ship. About a year after I finished my education, I moved on. I quit my job and barely had enough money for a simple vessel. Back then my parents didn’t understand any of my decisions. I bet, they still don’t. Anyways. I started to work as a Freelancer. Escorted convoys here, flew small amounts of cargo there… Experiencing the pain of meeting pirates, diverse confrontations, and so on. I went through the colonies, stayed here and there for a bit. Space is different, the names are different, but the situations seem to be the same everywhere. It happened a couple of years ago. In space I met a Zoner who’s been in troubles with Liberty Rogues. I supported him and escorted him to Freeport 1 in the Omega-3 system. He’s been moving from Bethlehem-Station over to Freeport 1 – quite a long journey. Enough time to talk and learn more about him and the Zoners. Eventually I started my own journey to meet more and more of this community. It seemed to be perfect. Neutrality, Freedom, Independence… And then there are the Omicrons. Far distance to house space. Far distance to the problems. I decided to stay here, travelling between Delta and Theta, always being cautious because of possible threats. I think I’ve been under Zoners for too long to still call myself a Freelancer, yet, I’m still a skilled pilot, willed to fight.

Dear Mr. Aliston, we should inform you now, that Velvet as an organisation are not Nomad hunters, that is ultimately what the Order and the Core do, we are security and intelligence first and foremost, and as close to a standing military as what the Zoners ever should have. We thought that this should be cleared up first so you know what you're actually signing on for, as our information pamphlets are quite explicit that we aren't hunters.
However, we will overlook this, as you are showing a clear interest in keeping the rest of the Zoner community safe. We are there for them, not necessarily the rest of humanity, as again, that would be the business of both Order and Core in their respective ways. Plus as extensive as we are as an organisation, we must look after our own before we start looking at saving others.
The Captain of the Nyx, Max, will be in contact with you in the bar on Freeport 11 and will be able to show you the ropes and help you integrate to life here within Velvet.

Miss Akina, we've looked over your application and can say you are definitely what Velvet as an organisation is looking for. With the mindset you have, your will to fight the threats of our people and the want to help is definitely a desired. It seems you may already know a lot about the Zoner community already, so there's not much we can help with on that, however, we operate on a much less passive nature, as we believe neutrality is something that should be respected, not necessarily expected.
For now, we will assign you to Agent Conley and Operative Malcolm Ritz. They will be able to assist you in your transition to life here into the Velvet Organisation.

Short biography:
Being a former Omicron Security Division Leader, as well as Administrator of Livadia Shipyard, guarding Omicron-74 and training newer recruits in defense and assault. Years later Omicroners turned into the Phoenix where I stayed with my people, but our roles changed very slightly, but I stayed there for a few years until Omicron 74 disappeared, I believe it was a catastrophic explosion, but I was the other side of sirius when this happened. But I wish to continue to live my life, defending the people of the local Freeports and Zoner installations, it appears the Velvet Organisation is the place to go.
