Im sorry but when I look at a faction I check how they are in game. anyone can write a good MD and make any encounter sound perfect. You cant fake real time RP on the server. This is what I meant by Quality of activity vs just having activity.

And this attitude, where person gave you general statement on how he judges faction, while you instantly twist the words and act as if it was about your factions, is not fitting for official faction. Perhaps staff decided appropriately if you start behaving like this.

I've already spoken to Loken via discord privately, and this is the 2nd attempt in an attempt off officialdom, and it's just rather annoying because we all including Chio put alot of time, effort, motivation into making Maquis what Maquis is,

There were many complaints about our ship choices, yes, i can argue the ship choices used against us was poor or even worst making that cau 8 solaris gunboats, destroyers, and hugging stationary bs's but also there is a known group who fly GRN BC, around 5 of them, dealing with them as well is a challenge when you can't even match there numbers but can only use bombers. It's a challenge and we fought against it since the start of our 2nd attempt in creating this faction,

As for Chio, he is not a member and hasn't been for over a month, but i believe he has one ship which he kept and has access to the shareds, that's it,

But i have lost motivation, 2nd attempt here and the reasons are slightly different from what's been ssid publicly to what they are privately, which has annoyed me even more. But my SRP Change request being denied twice, after trying to nerf my own ship as well, due to not enough RP annoyed me also, so yeah, there was plenty of RP done to nerf it.

But MQS leadership is being handed over to another member and i will no longer take responsibility anywhere anymore.

To all MQS members, it's been a pleasure, it's been fun and we achieved alot including a safe haven on Planet Gran Canaria, as well as started RP about a joint shipyard with a Bret faction. Kudos to all in MQS.

GMS, now St. Denis who said himself he will vote to deny our officialdom for very ****** reasons - his people from GMS have no feedback that I can express my opinion like he did to us, though, reason why I am mentioning them here, which was probably one of reasons we were denied is following.

GMS ships WHEREVER would see us log, would either log off or log somewhere else, we were attempting to get ships there so we can get AT LEAST some interactions. [MQS] is not a /1 /2 type of faction, we always give RP. If you don't see that, then I don't know what to say.

Seeing as I have been personally mentioned/attacked, I will give a response.

I purposely stayed away from the voting on the MQS becoming Official. I even stayed away from posting that your Request was denied as I did not feel it was prudent for me to be involved in that either.

As for the accusation that I said I would vote to deny you Officialdom, I will refute this, as:
a) I never said that and if you can show me where I said it, then I will apologise profusely.
b) I was never a Member of the Team, at the time, so I don't know how I could have made that claim.

I will leave it at that, before I say anything more that may inflame the situation more.

And once again, I get blamed for someone else's attitude and behaviour, this is great, honestly it is, once you all get your facts right then feel free to #BlameShaggy for things. But until then get your facts right and come at me with evidence that is not editted then we will talk yeah. I have not gone out my way to attack St Denis one bit, I spoke with the Game Master Loken who denied the MQS request publicaly and asked him to announce why we got denied publically also, then I continued to speak with him, not once have I targetted and assaulted St Denis.

Mentioning Chio in [MQS] is not right, because I am not part of [MQS], but I used to be. True, I targeted St. Denis, but I've got my own reasons, which you should not be bothered about since you are not part of that conversation. Besides that, why are you expressing some angry attitude here, trying to 'expose' someone. You are not involved in our officialdom, since you got kicked out of your own faction if we are going to talk about someones attitude, and make an "rebel" faction. Let's not look things like you said, and actually come with real facts, not your own opinion about someone. [MQS] doesn't attack staff, I attacked, I am not part of [MQS], you are not supposed to use me as a reference for [MQS]. I would hardly agree with you that attacking staff would result in deny of officialdom, I wish to know if you're an actual GM and you have a real evidence of why [MQS] got denied, since you are talking as such. Hello, I was just looking around your info threads and stuff. I'm curious because I always thought Maquis was a very interesting faction with a lot of potential. Unfortunately I have not yet met you in space.

I guess what I'd like to know is, how do you differ from the Council? While the Maquis could potentially take a far more radical stance, your diplomacy seems to mirror theirs basically 1 to 1. Taking an active effort in the war front and making the same allies as Council in that theater makes you look quite similar. Are there some relevant differences here I'm missing (besides the technical ability to engage transports)?

So we like to keep things along a similar path, the allies we have gained over the last few months are all to do with who is hostile to Gallia, King Charles and who would be benefical to work with. We started doing alot of RP with factions inside of Rheinland, starting off with RFP|, and UN|.

But we have also been doing alot of RP with Bret Gov, BAF, BMF and a few other Bretonian factions to the point, we will have a safe haven on Planet Gran Canaria, and once the RP is done, there will be a dry dock available to Maquis ships within Bretonian space.

We have also had the Maquis ID upgraded using what was the Maquis ID and a Council ID and merged them together making things seem more up to date and realistic.

Maquis are a terrorist faction, but they are a splinter cell from the Council. There has been a large push to get a "Revolution" back together using the Council, Crayter Republic, Bretonia and any other parties that want to join, and we were planning on making some NEMP Events with those factions similar to the Tau-31 event that =CR= was leading. There are NEMP Bombs and Launchers that [MQS] are ready to use, but the events are currently in discussion.

I've tried to tell you this ingame and on discord, and tried to explain the same thing to the XA leader (also to a bunch of other official factions and "officials" over the years), and I'll say the same thing again here.

If you want to be official and have privileges and powers, don't be all "I don't give a crap about what you think" at people who try to talk to you about your behavior.

You can do that as a player, you can do that as an unofficial group.

But if you want to be anything official with privileges and powers, it is absolutely and 100% your job to give a crap about what other people think.

I'm very sorry for your wasted efforts, also for every other "official" (faction or admin or dev or mod) who failed at understanding that before. It's almost as if it needs to be spelled out publicly and officially before people will begin to care.

Hm, I see. I have to say that kinda confirms my doubts over superfluity with the Council, since what you're describing could all be done by Council too.
I also see a fundamental incompatibility with a true revolutionary movement, and the conservative monarchy that is Bretonia's government.

I suppose I don't quite see the point in being Maquis if you could do the same by simply joining the Council.
