The board,
It's does me great to hear that my name is being heard from the higher ups, in GRG. I will continue to do what I can and appreciate the much needed support.
I've also heard small chatter about Gallic folk aboard FP5 - bits and peaces; I don't know much about them other than that they have become a recognized house, atleast what I have heard. Make sure that pilot gets some in-depth data recordings, I'd like to know who these people are or what they are.

In part to the delivery of the ship, Please inform me of what ship I should keep an eye out for, or even the name of this "friend". I find it - a little bit difficult to believe a "independent freelancer - Corsair" would so easily give his ship to strangers. I will keep an eye out for it, so scans of the vessel can be done. Making sure there isn't any thing to warrant more suspicion. But when it arrives, I will be sure to have it transported to Ames for processing.

Supervisor,
Rick Mortar

I thank you for accepting my application and look forward to this new adventure. As requested, my vessel has arrived at Ames Research Station and I am awaiting your instructions. I would like to make a request. This vessel of mine is rather large and difficult to maintain. I also wonder about its usefulness as a research vessel given its purpose is to house large numbers of people. Is there a possibility of exchanging it for another ship that would be more appropriate to the job at hand?

Mr. Crawford,
You do not have to thank us. We always welcome with open hands people that show good will and have good intention.
As for the request, we understand that a very old vessel like that is very hard to maintain. And therefore the Board considers it a liability, so we can accept this "exchange" , however the Board request to process the vessel as we can find it some uses in the future.
Please inform us of the vessel you choose and if this pact works for you.

I accept the exchange. My old vessel is yours to do with whatever you see fit as it is no longer of use to me. It is my understanding that many in your organization choose modified passenger liners as a mobile platform to conduct experimental/deep space research. I would ask for a Renzu Shukensha Class vessel to be requisitioned for my own use for the duration of my employment.

Mr. Crawford,
The Board has accepted your exchange.
We are going to fund you said liner, and the Colony Vessel shall be brought to Livadia Shipyard, until we decide what to do with it.

Genesis personell,
I'd like to officially declare our special teams fully operational.
Captains of the vessels of said teams know their assignments, so proceed to start them.

Mr. Crowford,
I hope that the board already wired you the money for said vessel and we are going to take care of the old Colony Vessel.

Mr.Caine,
As your first assignment you need to get in touch with Kyle Vaughn, leader of the Voltaics. The Genesis has started a salvaging project in the New London system.
Two Destroyers namely. All the details of the operations can be found here.
I need you to take over the security matters and make sure this operation goes smoothly.
We are counting on you.

Good day to you. I recieved the payment you promised and as discussed, I have commissioned one Shukensha Class Liner to serve as my primary vessel for GRG. I have gone over the specs with my engineering team and have chosen a configuration that should be more than adequate.

Configuration Features

Primary operational control of the vessel is provided by the Bridge, located at the forward section of Deck 2. The Bridge directly supervises all primary mission operations (with the exception of the Flight bay and auxiliary craft) and coordinates all departmental activities.
The Bridge is a highly restricted area; only Senior Staff and authorized bridge personnel are permitted in this area. All bridge officers carry a sidearm.

The Security Department is located to the aft of the midsection on Decks 1 & 2. Within it are the Brig, Ships Armory and the Security Office. Located on deck 2, the Brig is a restricted access area whose only entrance is from within the Security department. The Ship's Armory is located in a restricted area on deck 1 and is under constant guard. The room is sealed with magnetized bulkheads and can only be accessed by personnel with security clearance. Inside the armory is a work area for maintenance and repair of side arms as well as multiple sealed weapon lockers.

Located in the ships stern, Decks 1-5, Main Engineering is the ‘heart’ of the ship, comparable to the bridge as the ‘brain’. It has access to almost all systems aboard the vessel, and manages repairs, power flow, and general maintenance.
This section houses the Reactor Core, Fabrication Bay, Engineers Office and The Main Computer. Entrance to the primary engineering spaces is provided by two large blast doors, a pair each on decks 3, 4, and 5, that can be closed in case of internal or external security reasons, as well as in case of emergencies.

The entire forward section is one large Medical Facility located on decks 3, 4 & 5, equipped with two intensive-care wards, a laboratory, a nursery, the CMO's office, four surgical suites, a null-grav therapy ward, a morgue, a biohazard isolation unit, and a dental care office.

The midsection of decks 4 & 5 are devoted to the Research Labs. There are twenty science labs on the vessel which are multi-functional and can be equipped for various experiments. One stellar cartography bay is located on deck 4, with direct power feed from engineering. All information is directed to the bridge and can be displayed on any console.

Located at the ventral stern of the ship on Deck 6, are the Cargo and Flight Bays. The Flight Bay contains support services for the latest in Snubcraft and Freighter designs. The Flight bay is controlled by a space/air-traffic control room, known as "Flight Operations". This is located against the forward wall of the Flight bay, next to the exit for the cargo lift.

Along with the acquisition of the Weatherlight, I have also appropriated one Osprey Heavy Escort;GRG|Apolloto serve as an auxiliary craft for the primary vessel. Additionally, I have retained control of the Corvo Explorer;GRG|Vestaas a secondary ship. While I await Weatherlights construction, I am ready to accept any assignments you need completed.

Crawford here, I am pleased to report the completion of the decommission and dismantling of my old vessel. It was a slow and tedious project, but the station crews did a good job minimizing any breakage while stripping the ship down. The materials salvaged should go a long way towards any current or future projects in the works.

[+]Salvaged Raw Material and Technology
Ship Hull Panels: 135000 units
Nuclear Materials: 18500 units
Optronics: 29500 units
Basic alloy: 75000 units
Engine Components: 24000 units
Superconductors: 14500 units
Ablative Armor Plating: 47000 units
Industrial Materials: 59000 units
Xenobiotic Filters: 19500 units
Quantum Multiplexors: 12350 units
Nanotubes: 20300 units
Nanocapacitors: 22150 units
Super alloy: 68450 units
Lasers: 12150 units
Energy Field Equipment: 12100 units
Robotics: 43400 units
Copper: 16000 units
Additionally, the ships offensive and defensive systems have been dismounted and placed in storage pending further need.

[+]Salvaged Functional Equipment
Hellbore Battleship Turrets: 4
ZT-1 Primary Turrets: 4
ZT-2 Secondary Turrets: 12
BF-GEN Flak Turrets: 2
Battleship Molecular Shield: 1
Battleship Scanner: 1
Mk 8 Capitol Armor: 1
Finally, the two Synth Biodomes have been detached at their linkage points and kept intact. I think they are far too valuable a resource to dismantle as mere scrap metal. I'm certain one of our deep space facilities could use one or both of them. This completes my main report.

Now that my task is completed, i'm really looking forward to testing my new vessels capabilities. I will be exploring the rest of the Omicron systems pending any further instructions. A vigorous shakedown cruise will do a world of good for my crew after the monotony of the last several months. You can reach me on Weatherlights comlink at any time should you have further instructions.

Crawford out.
