I never said junkers were kill on sight, I said the council wont let them dock at our bases, past that I personally take a stance of ignoring junkers, as long as they dont cause trouble.
In terms of where junkers stand, I would say they are similar to Zoners, not in their RP role, but in terms of "we'll usually ignore you if you don't cause trouble/don't help out enemies."
I would pretty much agree with that reaver except I would add, "dont act suspicious", especially for the council in Gallia who knows many of them are Gallic agents.
' Wrote:Perhaps Igiss could clarify whether or not ALL Junkers are involved, or simply some.
Having the entire Junker Population of Sirius stealing tech and bringing it to Gallia would be too large not to be noticed by someone..
Reason for me making notice that only some were probably involved, and would lead to them being handled case by case on if they are aiding Royals or not.
I know a few characters (some of mine included) who are not ethnic Junkers and thus have nothing to do with Gallia. Remember, that the Junkers as a group accept any members with the only prerequisite, that those new members identify as Junkers and fiercely protect other Junkers while doing so.
Junkers are a pretty inconsistent rabble with members from all over Sirius. The Junkers Congress attempts to get organized, but at the same time many Junkers feel this is against Junker ideals and keep acting independently. You might think it like this: if a person leave's a faction for a reason or another and does not want to become unlawful, he'll propably go to zoners. If this is for some reason unwanted or impossible, the Junkers are always hiring.
I think logic dictates it's impossible for all Junkers to be Gallian spies under such pretense. At the same time, it keeps any outsider faction guessing: "is he or isn't he?" Wrong guess leads to either being spied on, or a backlash for abusing minorities and a neutral faction's rights.
Ah yes, and Junkers are known to lie from time to time, so there's a double dare. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation for every participating side, so better just keep the distance and pretend no one saw anything x)
' Wrote:Junkers and The Council are enemies to each other, since the Junkers were established as agents of the Gallic Royal House. The coded reputations reflect this. Junkers have no business landing on Council or Maquis bases any more than they do landing on Kusari bases. While certain Junkers might sympathize with The Council, The Council will not trust them due to that historical relationship. Maquis and Junkers are not outright hostile, but your reputation with Maquis improves by killing Junkers.
i got a question than. The Entrance is guarded by the Council. the second one is by the Royal navy but getting farther into the Galia systems you have to use either Council system or burgundy hole which is right outside council base.. Junkers are stuck inside than?
Yes and no, junkers are not stuck in or out of Gallia it just isnt easy for them to go in or out. They can pass through Languedoc, they just have to tread lightly because some are known to be Gallic spies. Council ships should not kill junker ships on site, although as a council member I would not be terribly happy about junkers passing through council space just due to the risk of espionage. I would say Lorraine would probably be a little better as junkers are more closely allied with Gallic lawfuls. However Gallic lawfuls dont really want any immigrants (or emigrants for that matter) so unless your character is a returning or departing Gallic agent I wouldnt expect a warm welcome there either.

about that. i was killed on sight carrying nothing and the council that killed me had no idea what the hell he was doing. a zoner before me was also stooped by same fellow and he just got lucky seeing i was guard and red might be dead as some say:)
but it still not a 100% answer. its not clear. will a council attack or wont attack should be stated. if they are slight hostile or they wiill be engaged on sight

Well then I think the admins will have to state it and be willing to sanction people on that basis for it to stop 100% as the council isnt the most clear cut faction, no revolutionary group is. Some revolutionaries in a group will always take more extreme less popular actions than others. Based on all the infocards I have read about the council (which is a good deal), I dont think he should have just blasted you. Although at this point form what I hear there are so many lolwutters in Gallia anything could happen.
As there is some information lying around somewhere to the effect that the Council encouraged the Maquis to attack Junkers after they heard that the crown may have been using them to spy on the rest of Sirius, one would assume that they do not have concrete evidence, and, being an organisation to whom public images are of the utmost concern, they would not move without concrete evidence.
It is a similar situation to Junker relationships in the rest of Sirius, really: if you are found to be working for my enemy, you are my enemy, if you are working for me, you are my friend, otherwise, get out of my face.
