server may be offline this week while deploying and testing next features

- added base dock/undock
- intersystem jump through gates (and not limited to gates already!)
- server instancing, one server process per system to allow horizontal scaling

Was bored and played with mission controller to create cutscenes. Well known intro (will finish it later a bit)

Project info: not dead, Im writing mostly server backend using nodejs, server instancing/jumping/docking done and tested/fixed/optimized currently Im connecting these events with backend databases so you can continue where you stopped playing))) quite hard task since there a lot of "small moments" that ruin everything with exceptions. And do not forget it should be scalable for markets/trade for example.

However I'll try to make it easy to deply for modders/server operators with one click when SDK should be fine for initial testing.

A lot of things were refactored, changed network layer, and yes...here's vanilla dagger values from shiparch.ini in action, with FL camera and feeling, speeds and turn rates identical.



also procedural deaths added kaboom

Preview client with vanilla dagger (values taken from FL). A lot of rework was done.
Online server, will be up until 30th May 2021.

Server may be laggy due to very cheap vps but you can pew pew online with someone and tell me if this feels like original freelancer.

Hit Space bar to activate movement controls.
H - turret view with double click to set fly direction.
F - shield booster, eats your capacitor.
Z - engine kill.

there's carrier flying around, its invincible and with poor aiming, but you can shoot it for fancy shield effect.

I don't know if asked before, but is that bloom or whatever you added to graphics can be disabled? It seems to be hurtful for eyes

Wasn't sure about this at first but the progress you are making looks really good and promising, hoping you see it through so that this doesnt become one of the hundreds of abandoned successor type fanmades
