Soon after I first came here, I joined Xoria's Hackers. I spent some time deciding which Bond villain to be, and finally settled on Alec Trevelyan. Unfortunately, I spelled it AlecTrevalyan. I noticed this after a few days, but since at the time the FLHook player ID and PM coding was a little dodgy when you renamed and I couldn't afford it either. It irritated me to no end, it did, but it didn't feel fixable.

After I came back a few months ago, those characters had been wiped and I could recreate them properly. Stil haven't had the forum account name's spelling fixed though...


On the same note, one of my Hacker friends managed to rename himself /? recently. I think that takes the cake.

This happened in my Luxury Liner in 4.84 (before the anti spin was implemented)

I was in formation with 2 transports that I've given a loan to. I was showing them arround some profitable routes so they could pay me back and get a good start. We were passing New Tokyo when my phone rang. I had already F3'ed to the next trade lane, so I got up to go grab it (it was literaly 1 step from where I sat). Not 2 seconds my butt left the chair, I hear "Caution entering atmos*Explostion*phere"

Apparently one of the traders bumped into me with enough force to send all three of us straight into the planet. Several people around the planet and in the system gave confused as to why there were 3 simultaneous suicide messages. A clever KNF pilot said it was probably a group seppuku.

7 days ago... I was smoked and created "Super_Mario_brothers" character and RPing as Mario and Luigi.... it ended when I was crushing boulder (planet Manhatan). I was needing mushroom because my starflea wasnt able to kill LN bunboat.

I was thought it was funny but noboddy laughed (except smoked me).... imo RP phail of the year.

I am sorry for everyone online in pensilvania and NY in that time.

I had a bunch of codenames that I had salvaged after the server crashed on my SOB character, and the phone rang, I was 30k away from Malta, and when I came back 10 seconds later, the server lagged me back to Ibiza and forward into Malta's atmosphere and I lost my codes.
