Gents, as I'm sure you're aware now after that foreign burst transmission, I might've made us a new friend!

Well, "friend" is probably jumping the gun with an alien artificial intelligence, but I made a productive peaceful contact with one of the AI drones from Gammu, which is an unbelievable milestone for me in this career. Just remembering the experience is giving me chills! I'll try to contain my excitement from here on, but I can't overstate how relieved I am to experience a positive interaction with something of alien origin. I'd thought they were just naturally as hostile as we humans are to each other, and thank God that's not categorically the case.

I was running a stint as acting captain on the Commutator, looking to earn commissions from transporting materials so I can afford the Jintsuriki radar suite upgrade for the Attlerock. Security officer Schwarz and I linked up over Pygar, and while carrying iridium through Omega-48, that's when we encountered it. Intriguingly, some Auxo pilots were following it as well and observed the whole length of our encounter - my intuition says they were testing us. Based on what they told me, they were likely there to guarantee the AI's safety against a hostile reaction, but I can't be certain.

I've included the full record of the encounter here. I think I'll see if I can contact an Auxo representative regarding advice on a simple, friendly return transmission to the alien intelligence. Maybe information on the relative position of the Tau-23 star? If I'm deciphering it's transmission correctly, it might think we're local to Omega-48. Correcting that misconception should be harmless.

Incidentally, do you think it's safe to use a chunk of Ice-61 as an office decoration? Just checking.

[11.02.2023 23:27:52]SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Greetings
[11.02.2023 23:28:08] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Picking up your tags now - hey, if it ain't Karl.
[11.02.2023 23:28:21] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Indeed, how are you?
[11.02.2023 23:29:05] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Well enough so far! Returned from my little Omega safari and needed some scrip.
[11.02.2023 23:29:17] SLRC-RS>Commutator: So I'm filling in with Resource for the commissions today.
[11.02.2023 23:29:56] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Ah, Wunderbar!
[11.02.2023 23:30:03] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Standby while we unload our haul. I'll be routin' us to uhh....
[11.02.2023 23:30:16] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Yeah, Omicron Delta once we're done.
[11.02.2023 23:30:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Mind if I ask for an escort?
[11.02.2023 23:31:00] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Certainly.
[11.02.2023 23:31:10] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Righto. Wait one.
[11.02.2023 23:33:12] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Just confirming the destination... sector [REDACTED].
[11.02.2023 23:33:53] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Aight.

/.../

[11.02.2023 23:36:46] SLRC-RS>Commutator: So I've done this route once before, but...
[11.02.2023 23:36:59] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Keep an eye out for AI ships around this part.
[11.02.2023 23:37:13] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Ah, right. Pesky little things....
[11.02.2023 23:37:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Yeah, I think I led one into a bounty hunter my last time. He was a little slow on the draw.
[11.02.2023 23:37:49] SLRC-RS>Commutator: God I hope he's not dead.
[11.02.2023 23:37:59] SLRC-RS>Commutator: It would suck that it was basically my fault.
[11.02.2023 23:38:54] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Still, it's at least a beautiful system, if dangerous.
[11.02.2023 23:39:04] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I think that's normal for Omicron.
[11.02.2023 23:39:16] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Indeed, very beautiful.

/.../

[11.02.2023 23:41:36] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I feel a little naked without a cloak onboard in places like this.
[11.02.2023 23:43:11] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Objective spotted. Some iridium ore to pick up, hopefully.
[11.02.2023 23:43:22] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Let's hope so.

/.../

[11.02.2023 23:44:32] SLRC-RS>Commutator: We're squared away. Bound for Coronado by way of the Omegas.
[11.02.2023 23:44:40] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Ah, wunderbar/

/.../

[11.02.2023 23:47:25] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Looking forward to the commission after this.
[11.02.2023 23:47:36] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I got a Jint scanner in mind for the explorer, but it's a real pricey sucker.
[11.02.2023 23:49:22] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Got anythin' you're plannin' for besides your degree finishin' out?
[11.02.2023 23:49:38] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I think Spa and Cruise makes a fancy version of the Eagle if you're married to that spaceframe.
[11.02.2023 23:50:22] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Ah, nothing really. Oh, the Obsidian? Yeah, I have heard about it. It looks nice, pretty expensive though.
[11.02.2023 23:51:45] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I know you got me thinking about pursuing a little further education myself.
[11.02.2023 23:51:59] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Xenoarcheology seems like it'd really suit what I'm doing.
[11.02.2023 23:52:18] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Ah, wunderbar. That sounds interesting.

[12.02.2023 00:21:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Was just white noise over the comm. Uhh... lemme fish it up.
[12.02.2023 00:22:29] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Our screens only read it as "Drone 13". Might've fragged a bounty hunter I passed by, in fact.
[12.02.2023 00:22:38] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Hopefully it got fixed up by now.

[12.02.2023 00:24:16] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Unlinked entities may devolve and act erratic, or develop faults.
[12.02.2023 00:24:57] SLRC-RS>Commutator: "Unlinked", huh? So these drone ships, they're all connected normally?
[12.02.2023 00:25:23] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Different networks are present.
[12.02.2023 00:25:35] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Each with their own agenda, but ultimately work in interests of Gammu.
[12.02.2023 00:26:21] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Huh. Interesting.
[12.02.2023 00:26:32] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Yeah, that's one step better than us humans, anyway.
[12.02.2023 00:26:44] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Unfortunately, decay has set in.
[12.02.2023 00:27:44] A/)-AXI-B-9192: There are some drones that have succumbed to deviancy due to the lack of cohesion.
[12.02.2023 00:27:51] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Ultimately working against their own survival.
[12.02.2023 00:27:54] A/)-AXI-B-9192: It is suboptimal.
[12.02.2023 00:28:08] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Hrm. I'd like to get a closer look at their home sometime. Fill me in, how territorial are the non-deviant networks?
[12.02.2023 00:28:31] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We are ordered to destroy or detain outsiders attempting to trespass upon Gammu.
[12.02.2023 00:28:43] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Failing that, the Core will likely attempt to get you too.
[12.02.2023 00:28:54] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We anticipate them to attack Gammu.
[12.02.2023 00:29:09] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: *tilts head* That escalated quickly.
[12.02.2023 00:29:24] SLRC-RS>Commutator: They probably just want to avoid people breaking things on the ground.
[12.02.2023 00:29:33] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Outsiders have attempted to interject into Gammu, trying to seize their home as their own. Stealing their property.
[12.02.2023 00:29:38] SLRC-RS>Commutator: The Core though, they're /really good/ at breaking things.
[12.02.2023 00:29:41] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Negative. The Core are killers. Desecrators.
[12.02.2023 00:29:51] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We, and other remaining cohesive units, are seeking to preserve Gammu.
[12.02.2023 00:30:04] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Healing Gammu will take tremendous time.
[12.02.2023 00:30:12] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Oh, don't mistake me. Just qualifying your protectiveness to my buddy.
[12.02.2023 00:31:08] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I assure that we like to maintain a minimum footprint in our exploratory operations, but if you request we keep our distance...
[12.02.2023 00:31:15] SLRC-RS>Commutator: That's how it'll be.
[12.02.2023 00:31:27] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We cannot - at this time - allow for close observations, due to the on-going wars.
[12.02.2023 00:31:43] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We can however, act as intermediaries.
[12.02.2023 00:32:34] SLRC-RS>Commutator: You know, I might actually be interested. I'm usually on the frontier in an explorer, not this crate.
[12.02.2023 00:32:43] SLRC-RS>Commutator: If I had questions about them, should I direct them your way?
[12.02.2023 00:33:04] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Perhaps some curiosities could be answered, but you understand the fragile nature of this situation, we cannot
[12.02.2023 00:33:10] A/)-AXI-B-9192: enlighten everything to outsiders.
[12.02.2023 00:33:54] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Trust takes time. If their whole species had a self-destruct signal or something, I wouldn't expect ya to tell me.
[12.02.2023 00:34:06] SLRC-RS>Commutator: But I'll keep that in mind.
[12.02.2023 00:34:26] A/)-AXI-B-9192: It is unfortunate that simple minded organisations such as the Core or the Order only see war.
[12.02.2023 00:34:40] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Finding new ways to kill, to subjuguate.
[12.02.2023 00:35:04] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Such greed.
[12.02.2023 00:35:39] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Well, for all our faults, we do at least produce at least a handful of folks who can try to act in good faith.
[12.02.2023 00:35:55] A/)-AXI-B-9192: We've noticed.
[12.02.2023 00:36:00] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Maybe between you and us, we can get a ball rolling.
[12.02.2023 00:36:17] A/)-AXI-B-9192: The old primary node of Gammu did not shy away from reaching out, curious about those who didn't have inner desires of
[12.02.2023 00:36:20] A/)-AXI-B-9192: ulterior motives.
[12.02.2023 00:36:32] A/)-AXI-B-9192: There was once a Zoner group called Canaan.
[12.02.2023 00:36:36] A/)-AXI-B-9192: They too were closely intertwined.
[12.02.2023 00:37:28] A/)-AXI-B-9192: But alas, they are long gone to time.
[12.02.2023 00:37:44] A/)-AXI-B-9192: A shame. Some very likeable scientists.
[12.02.2023 00:37:55] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Haven't heard of 'em myself. Time claims lots of groups on the fringes.
[12.02.2023 00:38:08] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Indeed they do.
[12.02.2023 00:38:33] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Whatever the case, we are determined to fight against the forces of atrophy, ever to persist in trying to preserve Gammu.
[12.02.2023 00:39:21] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I like your style, buddy. I'll try not to litter or anything when I'm passin' by Kappa.
[12.02.2023 00:39:45] A/)-AXI-B-9192: If only the Core knew how to do such.
[12.02.2023 00:39:57] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Now if /we/ don't want to become yet another forgotten fringe group, I've got a delivery to make.
[12.02.2023 00:40:08] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Be safe out there.
[12.02.2023 00:40:27] SLRC-RS>Commutator: You too pal. Fly safe.
[12.02.2023 00:40:35] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Fly safe.
[12.02.2023 00:40:41] A/)-AXI-B-9192: Until next time.

/... Encounter ends.../

[12.02.2023 00:41:12] SLRC-RS>Commutator: I didn't want to say this in front of them but damn I'm glad you were there.
[12.02.2023 00:41:25] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Having some guns in our corner made talking a lot easier.
[12.02.2023 00:41:42] SLRC-RS>Commutator: Somehow I think they'd disapprove.
[12.02.2023 00:41:49] SLRC-SEC-Karl.Schwarz: Yeah, no worries, although we were severly outnumbered.

Subject: Zoner Defense Fleet Merger & Inverness Instability

Encryption Strength: Impossible

I'm pleased to announce that the Zoner Defense Fleet, and their operational tempo, has now been completely rolled under the SLRC umbrella. Commander Elias Wilder has retired his commission from the force and any assets that the Fleet possesses will be retagged and reconfigured for our uses. I'd like to thank Commander Elias Wilder for his tireless tenure as the Zoner Defense Fleet commander in the recent months and wish him the best of luck in his retirement to Planet Eerie in Pennsylvania.

Secondly, I want to touch upon the elephant in the room: Freeport 14 and Inverness. Under no circumstances are any SLRC ships to enter Inverness during this rampant warmongering in the system. We are not to aid any faction on either side with military action of any kind. This is including any request from a fellow Zoner group or organization. If I find that anyone has been aiding either side in this conflict I'll personally see you removed from the Consortium and blacklisted from the scientific community as a whole. Military conflicts are not beneficial to anyone. If medical aid is requested from any of these groups, refer them to Med Force Enterprises and Doctor John Holliday. We are not equipped for medical aid.

Lastly, if any Zoners are attempting to flee Inverness for safety, aid them as you can but do not go into the system or get involved in a conflict with any forces chasing the individuals. If our ships come under attack from anyone involved in this conflict outside of Inverness, our security teams will handle the situation. I expect anyone going out on long distance research missions or any ships passing near Inverness, take a security detachment with you to ensure the safety of your crews. While I don't expect Crayter or Bretonia to attack our vessels, conflicts of this nature tend to stir up the local riff-raff and independent pirates looking for a quick buck.

As always, I'm proud of the work each of us are doing every day to try to make Sirius a better place in this warmongering environment that we seem to find ourselves in as of late. Report here if there are any reports involving our people as a result of the ongoing instability within the Inverness system.

Howdy friends. On my way back to Ikarus from a short trip into Pennsylvania to visit Allentown on Erie, though I had to travel on the downlow. You just know Liberty wouldn't be able to resist hassling me over my gear...

Speaking of gear, that was half the reason I went. Harrisburg in orbit was able to import some of those Kishiro Jintsuriki scanners, and I've been meaning to get my hands on an upgrade after my radar got scrambled in O-55. While I was there, dropping more cash on that than I've ever had before in my life, I picked up a few new tools.

If what I heard from the person ID'd as "Revenant" (ominous name) from Auxo is correct, not all the AI drones we might encounter can be reasoned with, so I picked up a single one of those fancy Helios beam emitters for deterrence. I'm still not comfortable with the thought of using it to actually fight, but... it does at least serve an additional purpose as a cutting tool. I've come across a lot of wrecks in a really short time, and having a way to "make my own door" if I need to EVA into one could be handy. The other new attachment is just a simple mining array, useful for taking small material samples aboard for analysis.

As for visiting the planetary capital itself, well, I've got some family who're members of one of the Civil Defense detachments planetside: the 3rd New Vernon Regiment run by my uncle. I met up with my cousin Jerron in Allentown, and we talked about Bretonia going haywire and the other stuff I'd seen. He said if somethin' insane happens and any Zoners need to relocate, his dad's in frequent contact with other militia and community leaders all across the world, and he's willing to help 'em out. Just a nice visit otherwise, but could be a useful bit of info to keep in our back pocket.

I've been a bit busy lately with some, uh, personal projects, but once I get back I'm going to start laying plans for another tour. Either getting some intelligence on the potential Nomad threat in nearby Orkney, or looking into some nooks and crannies in-between House space. Will keep you posted.

During a routine visit to Pennsylvania for a pick up of Helium for our instruments in Tau-23, one of the vendors there stopped me. He asked if we were in anyway related to IRG and if so, if I'd be interested in some old materials he had on hand. I explained to him that we were an independent organization from the IRG but we had some folks working with us that were once apart of IRG.

He brought me to a room with 10, that's right 10, flawless Ingenuus Cores. He was asking 50 million credits a piece for these rare items. After I validated the authenticity of the items...I dipped into what was left of my grant money during my tenure in Cambridge and purchased them. The downside is I'm now completely broke...the upside is the Ingenuus Cores are now safely in a restricted area onboard Ikarus Station for further research and development.

Dr. Wright, come see me at your earliest convenience. I'll be in my office.

For the sole viewing of Doctor Sailas Montgomery.

I hoped sleeping on this would make it easier to write, but I just ended up staring at the paneling on the ceiling all night. I'm still putting it all together.

I was witness to some real damn suspicious happenings yesterday, while picking up batteries for our scanners from the Ames stockpiles. I'll warn you, about seventy percent of it is just bad faith conversation between some folks who are carrying a lot of hurt, and I'm guessing no shortage of lies too. I... wish I could have said somethin' to help them, but without some kind of establishment with 'em beforehand, best I could do was watch and listen if I didn't want to be another idiot in the peanut gallery. And I did. Closely. What I heard sounds like bad news. Here's the summary:

During our sortie in Orkney, Revenant gave me the line that the anomalies in the Kepler system are "contaminated", that the dark matter storm is host to some kind of unconscious, murderous life form, and that they're attracted to and agitated by hyperspatial phenomena (later making additional reference to them being attracted to "minds" as well, if she was talkin' about the same thing). Mentioned jump gate destruction being related to dark matter storms earlier in the flight, too. If that's all true, that's dangerous enough - I'm damn glad we don't have any hyperspace research facilities out Kep way. Then I went to Kep, and in the midst of a little pilot party in the Ames NFZ, she said that examining their properties would be of interest to me, considering how close we are to a strange one here in 23. Yeah, she directly related the one here with the ones there. Feeling freaked out yet? Because I am.

Not only that, but she, among others present, seemed convinced we were staring down some kind of extinction-level event related to these things. Out of everything they told me, they advised not to go poking at some "gate" (which, despite some deflections shot my way, I'm sure is in Kepler) and to steer clear of the anomalies in-system. Well, Caliban, the other star-crossed sufferer in this duo, went right ahead and dived into one not long after, spoolin' a hyperdrive I think. Possibly the rift in question. Revenant and her buddy Points went in after him, trying to save his bacon. I thought they were as good as dead at first, but pouring over the logs, I think they've... done it before? It took them someplace, someplace they came back from.

Your guess is as good as mine on what the hell is going on, but I'm pretty sure what I overheard is critical as it relates to the security of Ames. Damn, even Ikarus here, what with our little landmark outside.

You can draw your own conclusions about the feuding between Caliban and Revenant, if you want. Revenant has been really forthcoming with information in my experience, but after this, Iistenin' to her here... I dunno, I've got this sense, something's up there. "Trust but verify", is all I'm saying. If she ever turns up again, that is. Hard for me to take that bet.

[19.02.2023 02:30:42]SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I always run across damned Baxters when I'm in the field and would love to be able to get some readings.
[19.02.2023 02:31:10] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: The standard suite on the Spatial is all about planetary bodies and rocks, so it doesn't cut it.
[19.02.2023 02:31:22] Points: That... is very interesting. I tried to get close to a Baxter while on a Falchion.
[19.02.2023 02:31:26] Points: Bad idea.
[19.02.2023 02:31:40] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Whoa, yeah, careful.
[19.02.2023 02:31:47] Points: Which is exactly why there are these dedicated scanners these days.
[19.02.2023 02:32:24] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Where was that at?
[19.02.2023 02:32:35] Points: Kepler.
[19.02.2023 02:33:05] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Eep. Yeah, they're /crazy/ in Kepler. Some of them have wild gravitational fields.
[19.02.2023 02:33:29] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: They suck you up and hold you there while they flay your hull. Makes me anxious just seeing 'em now.
[19.02.2023 02:34:12] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Really worried about that one in 23. It behaves pretty similarly to the ones in Kep.
[19.02.2023 02:34:27] Points: [The other pilot went quiet for a moment, and audibly swallowed.]
[19.02.2023 02:34:37] Points: That's not... a good thing.
[19.02.2023 02:34:56] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Oh... sorry man, I didn't mean to scare ya.
[19.02.2023 02:35:00] Points: All the more reason why I think it's worth investigating.
[19.02.2023 02:35:09] Points: N-no. It's fine. Just had a bad, bad experience with one.
[19.02.2023 02:35:27] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I'm glad you're still with us. Remember that.
[19.02.2023 02:36:02] Points: I... got lucky, is all.
[19.02.2023 02:36:17] Points: I had an automated system take the lead when it happened.
[19.02.2023 02:37:06] Points: It was... something.
[19.02.2023 02:37:34] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Faulty autopilot. [Sigh] I'd say sue Ageira or whoever, but you know they've got a legion of lawyers at the gates.
[19.02.2023 02:38:03] Points: Oh, it's not Ageira's fault by any means for using it outside of unregulated space.
[19.02.2023 02:38:11] A/)-Revenant: Don't visit Kepler.
[19.02.2023 02:38:16] A/)-Revenant: Don't scan the anomalies.
[19.02.2023 02:38:20] A/)-Revenant: Do not ever go off lane.
[19.02.2023 02:39:03] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Uh... in that order?
[19.02.2023 02:39:08] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Order of importance?
[19.02.2023 02:39:11] A/)-Revenant: In Kepler.
[19.02.2023 02:39:20] A/)-Revenant: Infact, if you like living, avoid it.
[19.02.2023 02:39:53] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I'd say I'm pretty fond of it. It's downright terrifying, I'll grant you that.
[19.02.2023 02:40:03] Points: Not entirely a fan of this "living" thing, but I'll avoid it.
[19.02.2023 02:40:19] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I'm a fan of Points living, so I second.
[19.02.2023 02:40:35] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Still though, we do go back and forth to Ames pretty frequently.
[19.02.2023 02:40:47] A/)-Revenant: None of those Zoners should be there.
[19.02.2023 02:40:53] A/)-Revenant: I do not care for their "freedom" of choice.
[19.02.2023 02:40:58] A/)-Revenant: It impedes upon others safety.
[19.02.2023 02:41:14] A/)-Revenant: They will be consumed, and only act as agitation for the storms and hostile forms.
[19.02.2023 02:41:18] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Are they... making it worse somehow?
[19.02.2023 02:41:24] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Uhhhh...
[19.02.2023 02:41:37] A/)-Revenant: Their presence can allure the hostile life forms.
[19.02.2023 02:41:55] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Hostile forms. Nomads? Gremlins?
[19.02.2023 02:42:03] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Dark matter gremlins?
[19.02.2023 02:42:13] A/)-Revenant: Hm. Yes.
[19.02.2023 02:42:20] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: "Yes"?!
[19.02.2023 02:42:23] A/)-Revenant: That is one way of perceiving them.
[19.02.2023 02:42:26] A/)-Revenant: Space gremlins.
[19.02.2023 02:42:56] A/)-Revenant: No, it is a form of unconscious beings that are guardians, that will kill without discrimination.
[19.02.2023 02:43:02] A/)-Revenant: Animal, Nomad, Human, no matter, it will die.
[19.02.2023 02:43:20] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I want to say you're pulling my leg really badly, but that doesn't sound like it.
[19.02.2023 02:43:32] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Is the dark matter alive or something?
[19.02.2023 02:43:37] A/)-Revenant: No.
[19.02.2023 02:43:44] A/)-Revenant: It's just allured those guard dogs.
[19.02.2023 02:44:17] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Dark matter space gremlin guard dogs that kill all life.
[19.02.2023 02:44:29] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: You know, I'm feeling really safe in my choice of career today.
[19.02.2023 02:44:56] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: And we're /attracting/ these things by being there.
[19.02.2023 02:45:08] A/)-Revenant: Well, Ames dabbles in hyperspatial studies, no?
[19.02.2023 02:45:18] A/)-Revenant: And individuals keep provoking the anomalies after we warned them not to.
[19.02.2023 02:45:28] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: They've got the equipment for it, yeah.
[19.02.2023 02:46:08] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: So hang on a second. Is that true of all Baxter anomalies, or just the ones in Kep?
[19.02.2023 02:46:19] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Should we not... scan them period?
[19.02.2023 02:46:32] A/)-Revenant: Consider Kepler as a contaminated site.
[19.02.2023 02:46:56] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: [An audible sigh of extreme relief.]
[19.02.2023 02:47:36] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Ok... I just finished decorating my office, I didn't want to go to bed feeling existential terror about the landmark outside.
[19.02.2023 02:47:48] Points: What's... the worst that might happen if Kepler is disturbed too much?
[19.02.2023 02:47:55] A/)-Revenant: Hm.
[19.02.2023 02:48:02] A/)-Revenant: Death, death, and, perhaps some laughter.
[19.02.2023 02:48:17] A/)-Revenant: Since the foolish Outcast and their deluded little minion, Caliban, believes they have it under control.
[19.02.2023 02:49:10] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Under control? I don't follow.
[19.02.2023 02:49:15] A/)-Revenant: Oh, do not worry.
[19.02.2023 02:49:22] A/)-Revenant: I will explain one day, but not now.
[19.02.2023 02:49:28] A/)-Revenant: For now, yes, you are safe.
[19.02.2023 02:50:04] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Pretty worried, gotta admit. But I'll take your word for it.
[19.02.2023 02:50:45] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: So if we shouldn't be on Ames anymore, is anyone uh... relocating?
[19.02.2023 02:51:00] A/)-Revenant: Some scientists to Erie.
[19.02.2023 02:51:11] A/)-Revenant: I have been trying to convince them to relocate to Erie.

[19.02.2023 21:49:21] Points: This is kind of serious, unlike with that Spa and Cruise joke of a human being.
[19.02.2023 21:49:30] Caliban: Well she screwed me over. I sent her to the hospital until I got bored.
[19.02.2023 21:49:32] Deuteronomy: J: There appears to be something irksome between you.
[19.02.2023 21:49:36] A/)-Revenant: Ah.
[19.02.2023 21:49:37] "Emissary"|S8: Ah, Attlerock. I see what's being said here. Revenant is claiming to have been stabbed in the back again, isn't she?
[19.02.2023 21:49:43] Points: Something irksome! That's a way to put it!
[19.02.2023 21:49:49] Points: Irksome! A minor fucking inconvenience!
[19.02.2023 21:49:54] A/)-Revenant: You did break your promise and shot me and killed my friend.
[19.02.2023 21:50:11] A/)-Revenant: You would rather instignate conflict rather than attempt to resolve it.
[19.02.2023 21:50:20] Dawning.Muse: Your lives are not only shackled by the chains made in the past, but also devoid of any real joy.
[19.02.2023 21:50:30] Caliban: Past? It's the fucking present.
[19.02.2023 21:50:35] A/)-Revenant: It makes me wonder who is pushing you to do these things, infighting is /exactly/ what our foes who desire our extinction want.
[19.02.2023 21:50:58] Caliban: Those who you call foes are also to an extent your allies.
[19.02.2023 21:51:04] Caliban: So don't act fucking smart.
[19.02.2023 21:51:14] "Emissary"|S8: Oh dear, did you have to blurt that out?
[19.02.2023 21:51:16] A/)-Revenant: I don't negotiate with animals.
[19.02.2023 21:51:48] Caliban: Yeah? That's now what you called Him last time.
[19.02.2023 21:51:52] Caliban: You even defended Him.
[19.02.2023 21:51:58] A/)-Revenant: Fly over to the anomaly, go on, go negotiate.
[19.02.2023 21:52:00] A/)-Revenant: Go on.
[19.02.2023 21:52:10] A/)-Revenant: Prove me wrong. Prove me that you can negotiate with /them/.
[19.02.2023 21:52:17] "Emissary"|S8: Revenant, Caliban. Stop.
[19.02.2023 21:52:19] Caliban: Why would I do that?
[19.02.2023 21:52:19] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: That sounds like a bad idea and a half.
[19.02.2023 21:52:25] Deuteronomy: J: Let them.
[19.02.2023 21:52:30] A/)-Revenant: If you claim these are sentient, go ahead.
[19.02.2023 21:52:33] A/)-Revenant: Because they are not.
[19.02.2023 21:52:43] Caliban: I would much rather SHOOT YOU. For sending me all the way to the FUCKING BOWELS OF HELL AND BACK.
[19.02.2023 21:52:48] Caliban: Because you couldn't take a fucking HINT.
[19.02.2023 21:52:50] Caliban: And FUCK OFF.
[19.02.2023 21:52:54] A/)-Revenant: I did not do such things.
[19.02.2023 21:52:58] Caliban: Yes you fucking did.
[19.02.2023 21:53:01] Caliban: Bering.
[19.02.2023 21:53:01] A/)-Revenant: I do not control you.
[19.02.2023 21:53:05] A/)-Revenant: What?
[19.02.2023 21:53:06] Caliban: You tried.
[19.02.2023 21:53:10] A/)-Revenant: Tried what?
[19.02.2023 21:53:14] A/)-Revenant: Remind me.
[19.02.2023 21:53:39] Caliban: YOU TRIED to control me. And You PAID for it. Before that? Kepler. You took everything from ME.
[19.02.2023 21:53:48] Caliban: What I wanted before that? To be left alone. And you didn't.
[19.02.2023 21:53:53] Caliban: And you can't fucking APOLOGIZE.
[19.02.2023 21:54:06] Caliban: Because you're just as stubborn as Section 8.
[19.02.2023 21:54:17] A/)-Revenant: What are you talking about? Of course I did leave you alone. And I have apologised many-a-time and even offered you
[19.02.2023 21:54:19] Caliban: You lot are idiots. All of you.
[19.02.2023 21:54:25] A/)-Revenant: monetary support for receiving medical assistance.
[19.02.2023 21:54:41] A/)-Revenant: You also waltzed up to an alien gate when I said you needed to back off from it. You were going to go into it.
[19.02.2023 21:54:43] Caliban: You left me alone after I busted your ship so many times you started to feel a bit of monetary loss.
[19.02.2023 21:55:06] Caliban: Waltzed? Now that's funny. I remember quite well that you started it all.
[19.02.2023 21:55:19] Caliban: You killed HIM. Your friend died because of you.
[19.02.2023 21:55:26] A/)-Revenant: I did not, and you know it.
[19.02.2023 21:55:37] Caliban: And I. The cunt you call a monster. I am the sum of your mistakes. And you know it.
[19.02.2023 21:55:37] A/)-Revenant: Your little "Section Eight" friend plotted that.
[19.02.2023 21:55:40] A/)-Revenant: You very well know it.
[19.02.2023 21:55:49] Caliban: Both of you are at fault.
[19.02.2023 21:55:57] A/)-Revenant: I tried to help you, to offer you healing.
[19.02.2023 21:56:18] A/)-Revenant: But no, of course, months later after I long leave you alone, you run off to the Core to get their defective implants that are
[19.02.2023 21:56:23] A/)-Revenant: only going to end up giving you immunity issues.
[19.02.2023 21:56:27] A/)-Revenant: Oh. Whoops, spoilers.
[19.02.2023 21:56:30] A/)-Revenant: Bet you didn't know that one.
[19.02.2023 21:56:46] A/)-Revenant: I never wanted to hurt you. Never.
[19.02.2023 21:56:54] Caliban: Yeah?
[19.02.2023 21:57:02] A/)-Revenant: I do not understand how you could possibly come to the understanding that I was trying to kill or harm you.
[19.02.2023 21:57:11] Caliban: Well dear me, if only we could have avoided you activating the Prophet Anomaly to drag me into Alberta.
[19.02.2023 21:57:13] Caliban: Oops, spoilers.
[19.02.2023 21:57:24] Caliban: I wouldn't have needed extra implants were it not for that.
[19.02.2023 21:57:36] A/)-Revenant: I /routed/ for you, I was /happy/ you took the moment to find yourself by exploring out there, by taking up the fight with the
[19.02.2023 21:57:37] A/)-Revenant: Xenos.
[19.02.2023 21:57:49] Caliban: Happy?
[19.02.2023 21:57:52] Caliban: Are you HAPPY now?
[19.02.2023 21:58:01] ZDS-Resolute: RO: No.
[19.02.2023 21:58:03] Caliban: Do you like the outcome?
[19.02.2023 21:58:08] A/)-Revenant: I don't control you.
[19.02.2023 21:58:20] Caliban: No longer.
[19.02.2023 21:58:23] A/)-Revenant: And I certainly cannot control anything, all I could do was offer help
[19.02.2023 21:58:43] Caliban: Yeah, you helped me a lot. Just like The Order.
[19.02.2023 21:58:49] A/)-Revenant: There was a certain point in where trying to offer help was naught, there was no need anymore, you wanted to be truly
[19.02.2023 21:58:50] A/)-Revenant: alone.
[19.02.2023 21:58:54] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: What the hell are they talking about? Did he go into one of those things?
[19.02.2023 21:59:08] Points: He was... different a while ago.
[19.02.2023 21:59:37] Points: He had an unhealthy attraction to these alien things. He would starve himself, put himself in extreme danger.
[19.02.2023 21:59:39] Caliban: You're a fraud. Perhaps there was a time I would've said "I forgive you".
[19.02.2023 21:59:40] A/)-Revenant: If I could reel back time, I would. Just to see if it was even possible to stop you from slipping away. But, inevitably, you
[19.02.2023 21:59:41] A/)-Revenant: cannot.
[19.02.2023 21:59:45] Caliban: But everyday you remind me of the skank that you are.
[19.02.2023 21:59:49] A/)-Revenant: What has happened, has happened, it cannot be undone.
[19.02.2023 21:59:59] A/)-Revenant: You did say that...
[19.02.2023 22:00:01] Caliban: Maybe your friend would've forgiven you. But I am not that friend.
[19.02.2023 22:00:02] A/)-Revenant: Don't you recall? Frankfurt?
[19.02.2023 22:00:18] "Emissary"|S8: Father, do you actually expect this to work?
[19.02.2023 22:00:23] Points: Shut up you.
[19.02.2023 22:00:25] Deuteronomy: J: It is working.
[19.02.2023 22:00:26] Points: Fucking-- stay out of this.
[19.02.2023 22:00:36] Points: This has been a long time coming.
[19.02.2023 22:00:38] Caliban: I will shove a revolver down your throat, Emissary.
[19.02.2023 22:00:45] Caliban: And I will not regret it.
[19.02.2023 22:00:47] A/)-Revenant: His hatred blinds him, as does his course for 'vengeance'
[19.02.2023 22:00:50] Stellarum: Ladies and gentlemen of all affiliations, it is time to leave you to it.
[19.02.2023 22:01:00] Stellarum: Thank you for the entertainment.
[19.02.2023 22:01:03] Deuteronomy: J: Godspeed, Hacker.
[19.02.2023 22:01:04] A/)-Revenant: The more time you spend fighting, is more time lost looking for answers.
[19.02.2023 22:01:06] A/)-Revenant: Farewell.
[19.02.2023 22:01:09] ZDS-Resolute: RO: I'd rather you keep it at idle threats.
[19.02.2023 22:01:11] Caliban: Answers?
[19.02.2023 22:01:16] Caliban: You want ANSWERS?
[19.02.2023 22:01:21] Caliban: From WHAT?
[19.02.2023 22:01:22] A/)-Revenant: You don't want to keep everyone safe?
[19.02.2023 22:01:38] A/)-Revenant: Or are we back to the stage where you say you do not care about anyone and would rather let them die to hostile lifeforms?
[19.02.2023 22:02:04] Caliban: You are the one to encourage chaos.
[19.02.2023 22:02:22] A/)-Revenant: I'm looking for solutions, for knowledge. Brute forcing this will not solve it.
[19.02.2023 22:02:23] A/)-Revenant: You know it.
[19.02.2023 22:02:25] A/)-Revenant: They adapt too fast.
[19.02.2023 22:02:31] Caliban: I don't KNOW it.
[19.02.2023 22:02:38] Caliban: Because I don't DEAL with them. With IT.
[19.02.2023 22:02:47] A/)-Revenant: You do know it, you've fought them.
[19.02.2023 22:02:51] Caliban: I don't give a single, absolute SHIT.
[19.02.2023 22:02:55] A/)-Revenant: Why?
[19.02.2023 22:02:58] Caliban: Why?
[19.02.2023 22:03:04] Caliban: WHY? Take a fucking guess.
[19.02.2023 22:03:17] A/)-Revenant: Because you are losing the plot?
[19.02.2023 22:03:28] Caliban: I go up against that "Gate", they will win.
[19.02.2023 22:03:40] Caliban: Leave it shut. Seal it even more.
[19.02.2023 22:03:53] A/)-Revenant: Sweeping it under the rug will not solve it.
[19.02.2023 22:03:57] A/)-Revenant: They were awakened.
[19.02.2023 22:04:03] A/)-Revenant: It is only a matter of inevitability.
[19.02.2023 22:04:12] Caliban: The Order can deal with it.
[19.02.2023 22:04:15] A/)-Revenant: They can't.
[19.02.2023 22:04:18] Caliban: I don't care.
[19.02.2023 22:04:20] "Emissary"|S8: Actually-
[19.02.2023 22:04:24] A/)-Revenant: No one can, until people learn to work together.
[19.02.2023 22:04:29] Caliban: Shut the fuck up, Emissary.
[19.02.2023 22:04:31] Points: Shut it.
[19.02.2023 22:04:44] A/)-Revenant: There are simply too many of them.
[19.02.2023 22:04:47] A/)-Revenant: And they evolve too quickly.
[19.02.2023 22:04:52] "Emissary"|S8: Father, are you sure your methods work?
[19.02.2023 22:04:54] Caliban: Boo fucking hoo.
[19.02.2023 22:05:04] Deuteronomy: J: They do.
[19.02.2023 22:05:13] A/)-Revenant: It's quite the concern when the entire species is at stake.
[19.02.2023 22:05:16] Deuteronomy: J: They are pouring their souls out to one another, do they not?
[19.02.2023 22:05:21] "Emissary"|S8: I'm not getting the impression of their hostility for each other decreasing.
[19.02.2023 22:05:23] Uzume-[Fae: There's quite the argument here.
[19.02.2023 22:05:28] A/)-Revenant: He will continue to hate me.
[19.02.2023 22:05:32] A/)-Revenant: This is inevitable.
[19.02.2023 22:05:47] Dawning.Muse: Sounds like he has his reasons to hate you.
[19.02.2023 22:05:49] A/)-Revenant: And I have seen no attempts of him undoing his heinous crimes of working for those who are actively harming Humanity.
[19.02.2023 22:06:02] Caliban: Crimes?
[19.02.2023 22:06:02] Deuteronomy: J: What is it that you are trying to achieve, Caliban? To hurt Revenant?
[19.02.2023 22:06:13] A/)-Revenant: Oh, he wants me dead. He wants me really dead.
[19.02.2023 22:06:18] Caliban: What do I want to achieve? Simple. Survival.
[19.02.2023 22:06:25] Deuteronomy: J: I would like to hear from himself.
[19.02.2023 22:06:30] Points: Your survival?
[19.02.2023 22:06:34] Uzume-[Fae: Now, this is the no-fire zone here.
[19.02.2023 22:06:39] Caliban: And I'll put HER into the ground for as many times as it takes to ensure that I don't die to the wounds SHE INFLICTED.
[19.02.2023 22:06:46] A/)-Revenant: I did not inflict them.
[19.02.2023 22:06:50] Caliban: Wounds she doesn't bother to at least APOLOGIZE for.
[19.02.2023 22:06:52] A/)-Revenant: Even in your past life.
[19.02.2023 22:06:53] A/)-Revenant: I warned you.
[19.02.2023 22:06:55] A/)-Revenant: I told you.
[19.02.2023 22:06:59] A/)-Revenant: Do not play with things you do not know.
[19.02.2023 22:07:03] A/)-Revenant: To handle materials properly.
[19.02.2023 22:07:11] A/)-Revenant: I don't even know how you managed to get yourself hurt from it.
[19.02.2023 22:07:16] A/)-Revenant: But I have a pretty good estimate as to what.
[19.02.2023 22:07:17] Caliban: That's why you have a cool "animal" nesting inside of you.
[19.02.2023 22:07:20] Deuteronomy: J: Even if it means you getting even more wounds on your path to vengeance?
[19.02.2023 22:07:22] A/)-Revenant: The Symptoms all line up.
[19.02.2023 22:07:33] Deuteronomy: J: How do you know there won't be another Revenant on your path?
[19.02.2023 22:07:41] Points: An animal? What?
[19.02.2023 22:07:45] "Emissary"|S8: Nothing.
[19.02.2023 22:07:48] "Emissary"|S8: No animals anywhere.
[19.02.2023 22:07:54] Points: I didn't ask you a thing.
[19.02.2023 22:07:56] A/)-Revenant: He thinks I am a bird, probably.
[19.02.2023 22:08:06] Caliban: Keep denying it.
[19.02.2023 22:08:09] Caliban: You're good with it.
[19.02.2023 22:08:10] A/)-Revenant: Denying what.
[19.02.2023 22:08:18] A/)-Revenant: I am me, completely self aware, autonomous and free.
[19.02.2023 22:08:21] Caliban: But I know the truth. And I'm not the only one.
[19.02.2023 22:08:39] A/)-Revenant: Do you also think that the planets are flat too?
[19.02.2023 22:08:52] Caliban: Jesting won't get you anywhere.
[19.02.2023 22:08:56] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Um, a concerned question from the humble audience. What "Gate"? Here in Kep?
[19.02.2023 22:09:01] "Emissary"|S8: Nope.
[19.02.2023 22:09:03] "Emissary"|S8: No gates here.
[19.02.2023 22:09:05] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Something we shouldn't poke? Something we /should/ poke?
[19.02.2023 22:09:07] Caliban: That Gate is none of your concern.
[19.02.2023 22:09:10] A/)-Revenant: Should not poke.
[19.02.2023 22:09:18] "Emissary"|S8: Just keep your distance from the unrelated gravitational anomalies.
[19.02.2023 22:09:33] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Get your story straight then.
[19.02.2023 22:09:33] Points: I'm never going near one again.
[19.02.2023 22:09:42] A/)-Revenant: Under no circumstance should you attempt to disturb the hyperspatial rift here OR approach the anomalies.
[19.02.2023 22:10:05] "Emissary"|S8: See, our story can't get any straighter.
[19.02.2023 22:10:13] Deuteronomy: J: This system is like a wound in the cosmos.
[19.02.2023 22:10:24] Points: Wound is putting it mildly, father.
[19.02.2023 22:10:33] Points: It's i-indescribable.
[19.02.2023 22:10:36] ZDS-Resolute: RO: There seems to be conflicting evidence.
[19.02.2023 22:10:41] A/)-Revenant: Elaborate.
[19.02.2023 22:10:52] Caliban: The only reason you are still alive is because He still has use for you. And you enable Him. That's all I'm going to say.
[19.02.2023 22:11:04] A/)-Revenant: I don't have a purpose.
[19.02.2023 22:11:13] A/)-Revenant: Whether I am dead or alive is irrelevant.
[19.02.2023 22:11:19] Caliban: Bullshit.
[19.02.2023 22:11:21] Points: Shut... that's not true.
[19.02.2023 22:11:22] A/)-Revenant: My only purpose is to learn.
[19.02.2023 22:11:37] A/)-Revenant: Even if I die, such will keep continuing on.
[19.02.2023 22:12:00] Caliban: But you won't die.
[19.02.2023 22:12:01] ZDS-Resolute: RO: So long as you don't inflict said death on eachother here.
[19.02.2023 22:12:09] Caliban: Because He needs you.
[19.02.2023 22:12:13] Caliban: That's obvious.
[19.02.2023 22:12:27] Caliban: And if you don't see it, you're a fool.
[19.02.2023 22:12:38] A/)-Revenant: A bold assumption. No one needs me to accomplish anything. Perhaps someone out there may need me for
[19.02.2023 22:12:42] A/)-Revenant: the knowledge I have accumulated.
[19.02.2023 22:12:46] Points: Zoner guy, I think we got the message already.
[19.02.2023 22:12:50] Points: No shootie. Shoot bad.
[19.02.2023 22:12:52] Points: Enough already.
[19.02.2023 22:12:54] Points: Holy hell.
[19.02.2023 22:13:09] Uzume-[Fae: That's why I absolutely hate things going out of control.
[19.02.2023 22:13:26] A/)-Revenant: I have no intention nor energy for fighting.
[19.02.2023 22:13:46] ZDS-Resolute: RO: I have to keep repeating it, you have no idea how dense people can be.
[19.02.2023 22:13:53] Points: You're the boss.
[19.02.2023 22:14:17] ZDS-Resolute: RO: I hate this as much as the next person.
[19.02.2023 22:14:17] Deuteronomy: J: I understand your anger, Caliban. Yet you will keep losing yourself the more you continue down this path.
[19.02.2023 22:14:28] Points: He's already too far gone, father.
[19.02.2023 22:14:37] "Emissary"|S8: Oh, Points gets to butt in?
[19.02.2023 22:14:39] Deuteronomy: J: And when you finally get to claim your vengeance. What will you do?
[19.02.2023 22:14:45] Uzume-[Fae: I think Caliban may have gone insane from it.
[19.02.2023 22:14:49] Caliban: I've sinned too much to just go back to the way things were.
[19.02.2023 22:14:50] Points: Yes, I do. What are you going to do about it?
[19.02.2023 22:14:59] Caliban: Who gave you the right to speak, Uzume?
[19.02.2023 22:15:07] Deuteronomy: J: You can always ask for forgiveness, Caliban.
[19.02.2023 22:15:11] Caliban: Last I checked the Xenos wanted to have you dead for collaborating with aliens.
[19.02.2023 22:15:13] Uzume-[Fae: Your own words say that.
[19.02.2023 22:15:17] "Emissary"|S8: What's that?
[19.02.2023 22:15:24] Uzume-[Fae: And where's the evidence?
[19.02.2023 22:15:30] Caliban: I don't fucking care.
[19.02.2023 22:15:33] Caliban: You're a risk.
[19.02.2023 22:15:34] Caliban: Fuck off.
[19.02.2023 22:15:39] A/)-Revenant: All it takes is a mere word, is it?
[19.02.2023 22:15:43] A/)-Revenant: Is that how justice goes?
[19.02.2023 22:15:45] "Emissary"|S8: Is that your superior method, Caliban?
[19.02.2023 22:15:47] A/)-Revenant: Guilty before proven innocent?
[19.02.2023 22:15:49] Deuteronomy: J: Though it is relieving to know that you are aware of your own sins.
[19.02.2023 22:16:06] A/)-Revenant: Aspen?
[19.02.2023 22:16:10] Deuteronomy: J: Some people have to have their eyes forcefully opened to see.
[19.02.2023 22:16:11] Caliban: Your friend was taken for a guilty man.
[19.02.2023 22:16:13] Caliban: He died.
[19.02.2023 22:16:13] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Right here.
[19.02.2023 22:16:17] Caliban: And he still is guilty.
[19.02.2023 22:16:20] Uzume-[Fae: Then you're simply insane and delusional to think of that conclusion without any concrete evidence.
[19.02.2023 22:16:35] A/)-Revenant: Perhaps Caliban is infested.
[19.02.2023 22:16:49] A/)-Revenant: It may be relevant for you to get a heightened awareness on the circumstances surrounding the
[19.02.2023 22:16:50] A/)-Revenant: anomalies.
[19.02.2023 22:16:52] Dawning.Muse: Plot thickens.
[19.02.2023 22:16:55] Caliban: Yeah, you're probably right.
[19.02.2023 22:16:59] A/)-Revenant: Since your home base is right next to one.
[19.02.2023 22:17:03] A/)-Revenant: Oh, I am absolutely right.
[19.02.2023 22:17:05] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: So I've gathered.
[19.02.2023 22:17:19] "Emissary"|S8: Do you ... have evidence?
[19.02.2023 22:17:41] Caliban: Before you neck me for something that I don't have attached to my spine, maybe scan Revenant first.
[19.02.2023 22:17:48] Caliban: No, do a biopsy. It's safer that way.
[19.02.2023 22:18:01] Caliban: See who's the real liar here, then.
[19.02.2023 22:18:01] A/)-Revenant: Oh, people have done multiple scans over the years. I've dealt with baseless claims for a very long time.
[19.02.2023 22:18:11] "Emissary"|S8: Baseless.
[19.02.2023 22:18:14] "Emissary"|S8: Hah.
[19.02.2023 22:18:25] A/)-Revenant: Sorry, but the Overwatch were the first ones to jump to the "they're infected" card years ago.
[19.02.2023 22:18:43] A/)-Revenant: And everyone since has found nought.
[19.02.2023 22:18:52] A/)-Revenant: Cambridge University, hell, even Overwatch did scan me.
[19.02.2023 22:19:00] A/)-Revenant: I've been to Akabat.
[19.02.2023 22:19:08] "Emissary"|S8: What do you say to this, Caliban?
[19.02.2023 22:19:21] A/)-Revenant: You can refer to their results, you might find something personal.
[19.02.2023 22:19:35] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Try going through customs. They'll find things you never knew you had.
[19.02.2023 22:19:43] A/)-Revenant: Oh stars...
[19.02.2023 22:19:52] Points: What is it.
[19.02.2023 22:19:54] A/)-Revenant: I'm glad I'm outlawed in Liberty.
[19.02.2023 22:19:57] A/)-Revenant: Customs.
[19.02.2023 22:19:58] "Emissary"|S8: I've had too many cavity searches already.
[19.02.2023 22:20:05] Points: Nobody needed to know that.
[19.02.2023 22:20:14] ZDS-Resolute: RO: One of the many reasons to not associate with the houses.
[19.02.2023 22:20:22] Caliban: They didn't look hard enough, or they were not recent enough to confirm it.
[19.02.2023 22:20:35] Dawning.Muse: I hope you know their names at least, Emissary.
[19.02.2023 22:21:00] "Emissary"|S8: Of the people performing the searches?
[19.02.2023 22:21:18] Dawning.Muse: Forget it.
[19.02.2023 22:21:23] A/)-Revenant: If... I can ruse him into another heated argument with Emissary, I can try to show you the properties of the anomaly
[19.02.2023 22:21:27] A/)-Revenant: but we cannot approach at all.
[19.02.2023 22:21:45] Deuteronomy: J: In our time and age, any bit of information - even as it is being processed - can be fabricated.
[19.02.2023 22:22:22] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Wouldn't that put him at risk? I mean, assuming you want him to fly near it, I'm trying to keep up here.
[19.02.2023 22:22:30] A/)-Revenant: I don't want Caliban to follow.
[19.02.2023 22:22:32] A/)-Revenant: He is a catalyst.
[19.02.2023 22:22:38] A/)-Revenant: His hatred is only going to stir up attention.
[19.02.2023 22:22:45] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Helm, bring us about and prepare for mooring.
[19.02.2023 22:22:52] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Scratch that.
[19.02.2023 22:23:00] A/)-Revenant: That was the Emissary.
[19.02.2023 22:23:08] Deuteronomy: J: Caliban. The way you embrace your wrath will not yield you the results you seek.
[19.02.2023 22:23:23] Caliban: And what else do you want me to do? Smell some salts? Yoga?
[19.02.2023 22:23:26] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Way to put as on yellow alert.
[19.02.2023 22:23:42] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: You could try racing.
[19.02.2023 22:23:52] Deuteronomy: J: For Revenant to apologize for what she truly caused. And for you to accept that apology.
[19.02.2023 22:24:00] Caliban: She wouldn't apologize.
[19.02.2023 22:24:07] A/)-Revenant: What exactly am I to apologise for again?
[19.02.2023 22:24:07] Caliban: She doesn't even admit it.
[19.02.2023 22:24:07] Deuteronomy: J: One apology may not be enough, Revenant.
[19.02.2023 22:24:14] A/)-Revenant: I have apologised before.
[19.02.2023 22:24:16] A/)-Revenant: Several times.
[19.02.2023 22:24:25] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Helm, moor. The therapy session is not something that needs armed supervision.
[19.02.2023 22:24:41] Caliban: You apologized to your friend. Me? You left me for the so called "monster" that I am.
[19.02.2023 22:24:42] Uzume-[Fae: But, what if that turns violent?
[19.02.2023 22:24:48] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Farewell, and good luck working out the issues.
[19.02.2023 22:25:02] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Should not be. We'll be close by.
[19.02.2023 22:25:04] A/)-Revenant: I already told you that I was sorry for having the wrong expectations of you, the wrong understanding of you.
[19.02.2023 22:25:09] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Moored.
[19.02.2023 22:25:14] Caliban: I'm nothing more but a raging hound to you. And you've shown it.
[19.02.2023 22:25:17] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Trust me, this does /not/ qualify as therapy.
[19.02.2023 22:25:25] Uzume-[Fae: If the Xenos ever do come back trying to blast me into pieces...
[19.02.2023 22:25:28] Caliban: Yeah, the wrong understanding of me. Because you realized I'm just a tool.
[19.02.2023 22:25:33] A/)-Revenant: Oh, pray tell me, how does tolerating you being around equate to me hating you?
[19.02.2023 22:25:35] Deuteronomy: J: It is not a therapy. It is a revelation.
[19.02.2023 22:25:42] Caliban: You even decided that I only have to be at the right place at the right time to enable you to open some gates.
[19.02.2023 22:25:43] A/)-Revenant: When you have relentlessly gone out of your way to hurt me.
[19.02.2023 22:25:53] A/)-Revenant: And even work with those who truly have no care for anyone but themselves, the Core.
[19.02.2023 22:25:56] ZDS-Resolute: RO: We are working on it.
[19.02.2023 22:26:12] ZDS-Resolute: RO: Helm. Moor.
[19.02.2023 22:26:41] Caliban: Nobody gave a single shit about me when I laid on the hospital bed with radiation poisoning and wounds all over me.
[19.02.2023 22:26:56] A/)-Revenant: I /watched/ over you as you healed.
[19.02.2023 22:27:01] A/)-Revenant: How can you say that I didn't care?
[19.02.2023 22:27:04] Points: You're so pathetically blind if you still think that.
[19.02.2023 22:27:47] Deuteronomy: J: Strong emotions may cause one to become blind. There can be no blame cast on Caliban, for he is a victim.
[19.02.2023 22:27:52] A/)-Revenant: I offered you everything, and you declined it all.
[19.02.2023 22:27:53] Caliban: If you cared, you wouldn't have tried to press me into helping your cause.
[19.02.2023 22:27:55] A/)-Revenant: You said you did not want help.
[19.02.2023 22:27:55] Deuteronomy: J: An outcome of what transpired.
[19.02.2023 22:28:05] A/)-Revenant: And then months later, you run off to the Core for help.
[19.02.2023 22:28:22] A/)-Revenant: Should I have even saved you?
[19.02.2023 22:28:27] A/)-Revenant: Left you to burn and die in a vacuum?
[19.02.2023 22:28:33] A/)-Revenant: How can you be so selfish?
[19.02.2023 22:28:44] Caliban: Maybe then you would've gotten the closure you always wished for.
[19.02.2023 22:28:50] Deuteronomy: J: Perhaps, he is not the one who is being selfish here.
[19.02.2023 22:28:50] A/)-Revenant: ...pah.
[19.02.2023 22:28:51] Points: God, just stop with the self-pity.
[19.02.2023 22:29:06] Caliban: Who the fuck asked you for an opinion?
[19.02.2023 22:29:20] Points: I did. Because your actions affected many other people.
[19.02.2023 22:29:32] Caliban: Your point?
[19.02.2023 22:30:13] Points: My point being that you have to stop, but you never want to do anything that doesn't come out of your rotting brain.
[19.02.2023 22:30:21] Points: Think. Think for once in your life.
[19.02.2023 22:30:24] A/)-Revenant: I suppose it is just that.
[19.02.2023 22:30:43] A/)-Revenant: Split personality disorder, amplified by damage and the constant mental battle.
[19.02.2023 22:30:52] A/)-Revenant: There is no reasoning with those who do not wish to be helped.
[19.02.2023 22:30:58] A/)-Revenant: Especially those drowned in hatred.
[19.02.2023 22:31:00] Points: I hope you rot, you son of a bitch.
[19.02.2023 22:31:01] Uzume-[Fae: Something must be obstructing Caliban's judgment here.
[19.02.2023 22:31:22] Deuteronomy: J: That will be enough.
[19.02.2023 22:31:24] A/)-Revenant: If he wishes to live his life of hatred, that is his choice.
[19.02.2023 22:31:26] Points: I hate you so much. I can't believe I even wanted to be your f-
[19.02.2023 22:31:37] A/)-Revenant: Points, perhaps you should consider calming down.
[19.02.2023 22:31:43] Points: [Sighs.] Yes.
[19.02.2023 22:31:43] A/)-Revenant: Truly though.
[19.02.2023 22:31:45] A/)-Revenant: Don't cave in.
[19.02.2023 22:31:48] Caliban: Welcome to the fucking club! Yeah, I wish I would rot like the scum people say I am! Maybe then I just wouldn't have to fight -
[19.02.2023 22:32:02] Caliban: - for everyone's safety in a way that only I and very few actually understand!
[19.02.2023 22:32:05] Points: I kept this in me for months.
[19.02.2023 22:32:21] A/)-Revenant: You're not fighting for everyone's safety. You're only speeding up the process of decimation.
[19.02.2023 22:32:33] Caliban: You're the one to say! The one who wants to open the gates!
[19.02.2023 22:32:43] A/)-Revenant: You are going around, causing trouble, and Eirene forgive me for uttering these nasty words: whoring yourself
[19.02.2023 22:32:44] A/)-Revenant: out to the Core.
[19.02.2023 22:32:50] Deuteronomy: J: Your path is fueled by wrath, my friend. You will not achieve your goal if you continue on like you do.
[19.02.2023 22:33:01] Deuteronomy: J: You will work contrarily to it.
[19.02.2023 22:33:07] Uzume-[Fae: Besides, clouded judgment is going to end up worse in the long run.
[19.02.2023 22:33:13] A/)-Revenant: I want to solve the problem.
[19.02.2023 22:33:19] A/)-Revenant: I want to find knowledge.
[19.02.2023 22:33:26] Caliban: Find it some other way.
[19.02.2023 22:33:32] Caliban: Maybe then I'll start believing you.
[19.02.2023 22:33:46] A/)-Revenant: You cannot ignore the problem by sweeping it under the rug.
[19.02.2023 22:33:53] A/)-Revenant: It is activated, they are spreading, they will not go back to sleep.
[19.02.2023 22:34:10] A/)-Revenant: You /have/ to goto the heart and destroy the knot that ties them all together.
[19.02.2023 22:34:21] Caliban: With WHAT?
[19.02.2023 22:34:24] Caliban: A few ships?
[19.02.2023 22:34:47] Caliban: You and yourself doing what can be called "sacrifice"?
[19.02.2023 22:34:50] A/)-Revenant: The fine precision of a scalpel versus the mess caused by a blade.
[19.02.2023 22:34:54] Points: There is strength in numbers.
[19.02.2023 22:35:11] Caliban: Yeah, thousands. Hundreds of thousands.
[19.02.2023 22:35:14] A/)-Revenant: With the right knowledge, the right distraction, one may be able to slip past detection.
[19.02.2023 22:35:32] A/)-Revenant: And with the /right/ technology, you may be able to neutralise their network.
[19.02.2023 22:35:35] Caliban: And you wanted me to play the role of a distraction.
[19.02.2023 22:35:40] A/)-Revenant: Oh, not you.
[19.02.2023 22:35:48] Caliban: Nah, some other poor fuck.
[19.02.2023 22:36:05] A/)-Revenant: Did you not say that the Order will take care of it if it comes down to brute-fighting?
[19.02.2023 22:36:09] A/)-Revenant: They would be eager to fight.
[19.02.2023 22:36:15] Caliban: Yeah, let them do it.
[19.02.2023 22:36:21] Caliban: With their thousands of Battleships.
[19.02.2023 22:36:42] Caliban: Play 4D chess. I'm sure it will work for you.
[19.02.2023 22:36:53] A/)-Revenant: Thousands of minds to distract and allure them.
[19.02.2023 22:37:04] Caliban: Excuse me, but I think I'll just go ahead and drown myself in a few bottles of whiskey.
[19.02.2023 22:37:08] A/)-Revenant: Alas, it is better than sitting around, malding in hatred.
[19.02.2023 22:37:10] Points: I hope you choke on it.
[19.02.2023 22:37:14] A/)-Revenant: What have you done to do anything?
[19.02.2023 22:37:19] A/)-Revenant: Or have you been busy being the good little minion?
[19.02.2023 22:37:24] Caliban: I don't have to do anything.
[19.02.2023 22:37:27] Deuteronomy: J: You can always seek me out, Caliban. I am willing to hear you out.
[19.02.2023 22:37:57] Caliban: There's nothing more to talk about.
[19.02.2023 22:37:58] A/)-Revenant: For someone being opposed to being the tool, you are very willing to sit in her lap.
[19.02.2023 22:38:23] Deuteronomy: J: Even though, the revelation the two of you had has set a pretty colourful picture.
[19.02.2023 22:38:30] Uzume-[Fae: I can finally rest on Ames now.
[19.02.2023 22:38:34] A/)-Revenant: There is nothing to be amended, Father.
[19.02.2023 22:38:43] Caliban: All I needed was a simply fucking apology. Addressed to me, not the dickwad that Raven here still sees me as. Some dead friend-
[19.02.2023 22:38:49] Caliban: - somehow still living.
[19.02.2023 22:38:56] A/)-Revenant: I already did such months ago.
[19.02.2023 22:39:03] A/)-Revenant: You truly are drowning within your own malice and ego.
[19.02.2023 22:39:04] Caliban: And they you shat all over that apology.
[19.02.2023 22:39:08] A/)-Revenant: I left you alone.
[19.02.2023 22:39:21] Caliban: You did not.
[19.02.2023 22:39:30] A/)-Revenant: [quietly muttering, as if talking to herself] He is nothing like Vincent.
[19.02.2023 22:39:35] Caliban: You only left me for a few weeks. And then started all over.
[19.02.2023 22:39:52] A/)-Revenant: Caliban is the antithesis to Vincent.
[19.02.2023 22:40:04] Caliban: Unless you finally understand why I'm angry at you, we have nothing to talk about.
[19.02.2023 22:40:09] A/)-Revenant: I /really/ dislike the psychic entity that resides within his mind.
[19.02.2023 22:40:22] A/)-Revenant: I will never understand it. I obeyed your condition and you still go... berserk.
[19.02.2023 22:40:31] A/)-Revenant: It is... Malicious.
[19.02.2023 22:40:51] A/)-Revenant: Yet, it also thinks it is keyed to You.
[19.02.2023 22:40:58] Caliban: And if I see you anywhere outside the NFZ with the slightest consideration to be your usual self towards me, you're dead.
[19.02.2023 22:41:10] Points: Who? Me?
[19.02.2023 22:41:11] A/)-Revenant: As you have tried before time and time again.
[19.02.2023 22:41:18] A/)-Revenant: ...Hm?
[19.02.2023 22:41:18] Caliban: This time I'll aim for the canopy.
[19.02.2023 22:41:32] A/)-Revenant: Why is he headed for the...
[19.02.2023 22:41:53] A/)-Revenant: Childish.
[19.02.2023 22:42:00] A/)-Revenant: It is inevitable, Father.
[19.02.2023 22:42:03] A/)-Revenant: I have told you.
[19.02.2023 22:42:14] A/)-Revenant: Not all conflicts can truly be resolved.
[19.02.2023 22:42:17] Deuteronomy: J: I don't believe so.
[19.02.2023 22:42:43] Points: Everyone pays for their actions eventually.
[19.02.2023 22:42:47] Deuteronomy: J: Something caused him to act the way he does. The root is, evidently, within you.
[19.02.2023 22:42:49] A/)-Revenant: ...I don't understand. How can it be just noise? I saw it. I heard it. It tried to kill me. It thinks you are its father.
[19.02.2023 22:43:03] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Are you chasing him out there, right now?
[19.02.2023 22:43:09] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: What happened to "don't go off the lanes"?
[19.02.2023 22:43:20] A/)-Revenant: A hook... So it is an imprint?
[19.02.2023 22:43:28] Points: Hey. Who are you talking to?
[19.02.2023 22:43:34] A/)-Revenant: ...hm, oh... Hello?
[19.02.2023 22:43:39] Points: Snap out of it.
[19.02.2023 22:44:01] Deuteronomy: J: You should simply re-evaluate the situation. Remove all the pride that blinds your sympathetic perception.
[19.02.2023 22:44:14] A/)-Revenant: Do you not think I have attempted such?
[19.02.2023 22:44:20] Points: It takes two hands to clap, Father.
[19.02.2023 22:44:24] A/)-Revenant: Remove all ties, remove all history, all bias. Wipe it clean.
[19.02.2023 22:44:26] A/)-Revenant: It did not matter.
[19.02.2023 22:44:41] Deuteronomy: J: Then try again.
[19.02.2023 22:44:45] A/)-Revenant: It will not work.
[19.02.2023 22:45:02] Dawning.Muse: You do not believe it.
[19.02.2023 22:45:23] A/)-Revenant: I have tried. And I'm afraid that I simply cannot waste the remainders of my life trying to appease someone who has
[19.02.2023 22:45:29] A/)-Revenant: long been damaged by a terrible accident.
[19.02.2023 22:45:36] Deuteronomy: J: Very well. If you are not willing to attempt it again, then I will.
[19.02.2023 22:45:55] Deuteronomy: J: He needs saving. Before he causes more harm than he already did.
[19.02.2023 22:46:28] Dawning.Muse: Right now he wants to kill his tormentor more than anything.
[19.02.2023 22:46:44] Deuteronomy: J: He needs no counsel, but for someone to listent to him and help him abandon his wrath.
[19.02.2023 22:46:58] A/)-Revenant: I noted that.
[19.02.2023 22:47:03] A/)-Revenant: Come.
[19.02.2023 22:47:04] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: For my part? Good on you for wanting to try. Seems like a /tall/ order, though.
[19.02.2023 22:47:22] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I gotta /really/ bad track record with places like this...
[19.02.2023 22:47:27] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I'm gonna stick in the rear if that's ok.
[19.02.2023 22:47:29] A/)-Revenant: I do admire those with an honest and gentle heart, but it is simply so that there are some individuals who cannot be
[19.02.2023 22:47:31] A/)-Revenant: redeemed.
[19.02.2023 22:47:33] Points: Why does he deserve any help, Father.
[19.02.2023 22:47:51] Points: There are those who had nothing to do with any of it and ended up suffering a lot.
[19.02.2023 22:47:54] Deuteronomy: J: He is a victim. He needs more help than anybody else.
[19.02.2023 22:48:10] Deuteronomy: J: A dangerous victim.
[19.02.2023 22:48:20] A/)-Revenant: We are all victims if we do not seek calm.
[19.02.2023 22:48:52] A/)-Revenant: I will give you a very very brief glance of the anomaly, but we cannot approach past a threshold.
[19.02.2023 22:48:57] Points: Calm is only a state of mind that happens when everything is back into its place.
[19.02.2023 22:48:58] Dawning.Muse: Everyone is responsible for his or her own joy in life.
[19.02.2023 22:49:18] Deuteronomy: J: His wrath is not natural, not genuine. He was not born with it. He is ingulfed by it because he has little else in his life.
[19.02.2023 22:49:19] Points: Like a tidy library. Everything is back where it belongs.
[19.02.2023 22:49:20] A/)-Revenant: He's... near it. Of course.
[19.02.2023 22:49:27] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Yeah, this seems like a really bad idea.
[19.02.2023 22:49:37] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: You know we're about to be outside the NFZ?
[19.02.2023 22:49:47] A/)-Revenant: I have lived through enough suffering to grasp onto what miniscule pieces of peace there might be.
[19.02.2023 22:49:50] A/)-Revenant: I know.
[19.02.2023 22:49:53] Points: I'm waiting for him. If he dares to come, he's dead.
[19.02.2023 22:49:57] A/)-Revenant: Do not engage.
[19.02.2023 22:50:13] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I'll just be back here a little bit...
[19.02.2023 22:50:16] A/)-Revenant: ...right beside it.
[19.02.2023 22:50:19] Deuteronomy: J: He can yet be saved.
[19.02.2023 22:50:46] A/)-Revenant: ...why do you seek to reside right there?
[19.02.2023 22:51:10] Points: Old habits die hard.
[19.02.2023 22:51:15] A/)-Revenant: Don't.
[19.02.2023 22:51:48] A/)-Revenant: [grumbles, inhaling, letting loose with a shaken exhale]
[19.02.2023 22:52:08] Caliban: [Revenant's question was met with static.]
[19.02.2023 22:52:11] Deuteronomy: J: It is not too late.
[19.02.2023 22:52:21] A/)-Revenant: Look I... I never wanted to hurt you.
[19.02.2023 22:52:40] A/)-Revenant: I find it hard to understand people sometimes. Sometimes, jokes are serious, sometimes
[19.02.2023 22:52:45] A/)-Revenant: people being serious are actually joking.
[19.02.2023 22:53:03] A/)-Revenant: I'm not the one for words, as you may know, but...
[19.02.2023 22:53:07] A/)-Revenant: You aren't him.
[19.02.2023 22:53:12] A/)-Revenant: Not anymore.
[19.02.2023 22:53:14] A/)-Revenant: I know that.
[19.02.2023 22:53:28] Red.Bolt: Hey.
[19.02.2023 22:53:32] A/)-Revenant: It was hard to ... grasp, to understand, despite my understanding of biology.
[19.02.2023 22:53:44] Deuteronomy: J: Greetings, Red Bolt.
[19.02.2023 22:54:01] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Careful buddy... you might want to hang back here.
[19.02.2023 22:54:05] A/)-Revenant: You can hate me if you wish, but, if... that is what you truly felt when I helped you into the medical bed,
[19.02.2023 22:54:22] A/)-Revenant: when I was there by your side when you were recovered from the wreck - that you felt like you were a monster
[19.02.2023 22:54:33] A/)-Revenant: that I was treating you as a thing. I am sorry. I truly am.
[19.02.2023 22:55:14] A/)-Revenant: I don't expect you to forgive me, coming to an understanding was hard.
[19.02.2023 22:55:28] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: Caliban and Revenant have some history. They kinda have trouble sorting through it.
[19.02.2023 22:55:40] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: They're near a dangerous anomaly though. Try to keep a safe distance from it.
[19.02.2023 22:55:46] Red.Bolt: I can figure as much, yeah.
[19.02.2023 22:55:55] A/)-Revenant: It... kind of deeply pains me that you held no memories. The good times I had with him.
[19.02.2023 22:56:09] Caliban: [The static held on for a few more seconds, before the silence broke. He spoke rather quietly.]
[19.02.2023 22:56:15] Caliban: Alright.
[19.02.2023 22:56:32] A/)-Revenant: But, please, you need to move away from the anomaly.
[19.02.2023 22:56:54] Red.Bolt: What's the deal with that anomaly?
[19.02.2023 22:57:00] A/)-Revenant: Death and despair lay ahead.
[19.02.2023 22:57:05] Caliban: I can't.
[19.02.2023 22:57:05] A/)-Revenant: That is what.
[19.02.2023 22:57:12] A/)-Revenant: ...why?
[19.02.2023 22:57:17] Red.Bolt: It's a gravity well?
[19.02.2023 22:57:22] A/)-Revenant: He can't move away from the anomaly...
[19.02.2023 22:57:27] A/)-Revenant: I'm going closer to see what's wrong.
[19.02.2023 22:57:33] Deuteronomy: J: A dimensional tear.
[19.02.2023 22:57:35] Caliban: Sometimes I just lay here, think of the things I could do.
[19.02.2023 22:58:23] A/)-Revenant: ...what is it that you would like to do?
[19.02.2023 22:58:38] Caliban: Now? I can only watch.
[19.02.2023 22:59:04] A/)-Revenant: How's that? Are you not free?
[19.02.2023 22:59:13] Deuteronomy: J: You have to let him go, Revenant.
[19.02.2023 22:59:16] Caliban: You're not free either.
[19.02.2023 22:59:28] Deuteronomy: J: You apologized to him. For all the right reasons, you did.
[19.02.2023 22:59:36] A/)-Revenant: I'm still dying, no matter what I do, it's still going to happen.
[19.02.2023 22:59:47] Caliban: And don't bullshit me. For once admit that you're not free either. The same fate binds you.
[19.02.2023 23:00:15] A/)-Revenant: The end is all the same, but the path is not laid out, anything can happen between.
[19.02.2023 23:00:41] Caliban: For a second I felt Him.

[19.02.2023 23:01:53] A/)-Revenant: What?!
[19.02.2023 23:01:55] A/)-Revenant: No, no, stop.
[19.02.2023 23:01:59] Red.Bolt: Whoah hold on a second.
[19.02.2023 23:02:01] Points: W-what?!
[19.02.2023 23:02:06] Caliban: You said I'd have to face the danger head on.
[19.02.2023 23:02:10] A/)-Revenant: Not alone!
[19.02.2023 23:02:13] Deuteronomy: J: Let him go.
[19.02.2023 23:02:23] Points: Don't you dare.
[19.02.2023 23:02:34] Deuteronomy: J: Let him. It is the final step.
[19.02.2023 23:02:34] A/)-Revenant: No-no-no...
[19.02.2023 23:02:50] A/)-Revenant: What is ... What is he doing?!
[19.02.2023 23:03:06] A/)-Revenant: I'm going in. I can't believe I'm doing this.
[19.02.2023 23:03:08] Points: It... can't be. Did he just... go in there again?
[19.02.2023 23:03:13] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: I lost him... what was that? What'd he do?
[19.02.2023 23:03:18] Points: Okay... this will be as traumatic as last time.
[19.02.2023 23:03:21] Red.Bolt: Did he jump somewhere?
[19.02.2023 23:03:25] Deuteronomy: J: Irrelevant.
[19.02.2023 23:03:30] A/)-Revenant: Slipped through the streams.
[19.02.2023 23:03:46] Deuteronomy: J: He ventured through the wound.
[19.02.2023 23:04:09] Points: No. S-stop for a moment. Think about this.
[19.02.2023 23:04:11] Deuteronomy: J: Let him go, Revenant.
[19.02.2023 23:04:23] A/)-Revenant: Aspen, please don't go into the triage.
[19.02.2023 23:04:26] Deuteronomy: J: It is what he wants.
[19.02.2023 23:04:31] Points: I've changed my mind. This is horrible.
[19.02.2023 23:05:13] Points: NO!
[19.02.2023 23:05:16] A/)-Revenant: I'm sorry.
[19.02.2023 23:05:23] Deuteronomy: J: Please.
[19.02.2023 23:05:24] Red.Bolt: That's not ending well.
[19.02.2023 23:05:25] Points: I'm not leaving you again!
[19.02.2023 23:05:32] Points: STOP! Get back!
[19.02.2023 23:05:33] Deuteronomy: J: You have to let go.
[19.02.2023 23:05:53] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: What the hell are you doing? You said stay away!
[19.02.2023 23:05:56] Red.Bolt: Fuck... the storm is burning my ship.
[19.02.2023 23:06:12] Deuteronomy: J: *Sigh* May God watch over them.
[19.02.2023 23:06:35] SLRC-XPS>Attlerock: They went /through/ this thing somewhere? I...

During discussions with Auxo, they have mentioned many times in passing that current hyperspace jump drive travel destroys space and can cause dangerous Baxter anomalies to spring up in the vicinity that travel using these devices is often times used in. Additionally, there is the theory that hyperspace travel to areas with Dark Matter some how excites the dark matter and it's photons causing the Dark Matter storms that we've seen across systems such as Alberta and Kepler.

Bearing that in mind, we are looking into an alternative form of hyperspace travel that is safer and less damaging to space and subspace. Titled "Project Ameliorative", we will begin doing research into this project using the DSX>Starlight, a recent acquisition from the ZDF fleet. The Starlight (named for our group) is a Conference Zoner Gunboat which will be modified to house this experimental drive once developed. At present, we have 10 inert IRG Cores that we can experiment with. Along with Dr. Wright (who was there when they were developed), we may be able to come up with a thesis and/or theorem based around this new experimental drive and the IRG Cores.

I'll be at Ikarus Station this evening to discuss with others the best plan of action for the development of an undertaking such as this. Feel free to stop by and discuss.

Director,

I know the situation at 14 has been, exciting, as of late; and its your lucky day, I'll be adding to that excitement. Sean has informed me while on patrol he came across a Pilgrim Liner, filled to the brim with scientific research and Nomad remains, and not just a few either. I've attached a scan provided by Sean as well as the black box tapes.

I think we may need to tell our friends at Valravn about this one. The remains I can somewhat ignore we're well aware of the inactive hive. The power cell, really shouldn't be in the possession of those sorts of people. Especially if they're going to be getting smashhammer drunk at our bar.

Good Morning Campers,

We have two unfullfilled grants which are listed below. Let me know if there are any questions.

Our first project, A-109-3, is a pretty simple turn and burn. Starting at Barrier Gate Station C, you'll need to pick up a research expedition (//Commodity: Survey Team). They are bound for Planet Mindanao, Tau 44. Yes the radioactive one. I would make sure to check out a hazmat suit from Jimmy down in acquisitions. Once you arrive in orbit you'll need to deploy them (//eject the commodity and screen shot). The expedition has their own landing craft and will make their way to the surface from there. Report in on this frequency and payment of 5 units of scientific data will be credited to your account.

Our second project, A-115-H. Is slightly more complex. Starting at Freeport 5, you'll need to pick up a modified survey device (//Commodity: Reconnaissance Module). After pick up proceed to the Alegranza Cloud, Omega 48. Once there proceed to grid A/B 7. We've received reports of an unknown type of asteroid in this vicinity, should you come across any in the area use the survey device to pull a reading for our records. Report in on this frequency and a payment of 5 units of scientific data will be credited to your account.

Hello, this is the first time I've shown my face since applying to join the SLRC some odd few days ago. I have several things to address but first I must thank the Director for indulging in a stipend of which I've used since to purchase and renovate an old Corvos-class Explorer. As for my future collegues in the days to come I also apologize for my tardiness and absence in the social circle as myself and the crew have all been busy making sure that the ship we've purchased (second-hand, used, falling apart) does not immediately fail upon start-up the next time it leaves port.

Though despite it all and our best efforts it would appear hard work can /not/ defeat laziness and opulence were it not for the timely assistance of another of our companions in the SLRC we would have found ourselves stranded in the open dead in the water. Introductions aside, it is time for my first official report.

Upon my return trip from Omicron Theta to pick up remaining crew, equipment, and supplies before introducing my former work place to the black emptiness of space that my attention was brought to a developing situation. From what I can understand it would appear one of the so-called 'Baxter' Anomalies had somehow stabilized and formed into a semi-stable, one-way wormhole. We tracked them as far as Kepler until the survey probe we sent through lost visual signal but we managed to maintain some feasible connection by staying in close proximity of the anomaly itself. I'm sure when they return from Liberty space Points and Aspen can tell us more but parsing through the white noise has me concerned now.

Looking through past logs already submitted I do believe the best thing we can do is maintain control over our local airspace by clearing away any anomalies that get too close to the station itself. I have no idea why Tau-23 seems to have such an abundance but we managed to "close" the breach by assaulting it with a low-brow mix of tachyon, radion, and gamma radiation. I wouldn't recommend direct approach with any craft larger then a small freighter lest you risk getting pulled into an endless void of infinite darkspace. They were lucky this time but I'm not sure about the next .. one might not come back out the same if at all.
