With the supposed destruction of the allied forces search parties were sent out, as the Bretonian command demands a reason for the disappearance. Arriving first they find a debris field of both Allied and Maltese ships. While discovering only a few old Lynx fighters bearing the Royal Kingdom colors. Recovering black boxes from all three sides the CIS bear witness the horror of their comrades. The Maltese and Gallic black boxes will take time to crack and have been moved to [REDACTED] for further processing.

Not expecting complete failure of the open season the Don of Cali base was slow to respond to the complete absence of returning hunting parties. After sending a search team to the designated point. They find nothing but busted hulls of the battle. Already picked clean of loot and intel. The Don pleas to Malta of a potential threat. Warning of no survivors and of Royalists prowling, taking every prey in it's way. Due to recent high lose of assets the Council of Dons on Malta call upon the Maltase fleet for action.

The Royalist Warband sweeps deeper into Tau-23, emboldened by the surge of a fresh victory. The tattered remnants of the Royal Navy have struck like a bolt from the blue, peeling apart their numerous enemies with all the ferocity of a cornered lion. The Crown may be on the verge of total annihilation, but the spectre of Gallia's past refuses to be laid to rest -- at least for another day. Today, it is the Kingdom's enemies who lie in ruins among the rocks, and the dreams of a lasting peace in the Taus die with them.

When all is said and done, the Lynxes swoop back to the Resurgent as quickly as they arrived, satisfied in the knowledge that all is not yet lost. The cause struggles onwards, clinging to life amidst a storm of old hatreds.
