I am still cruising about. In part thanks to the fuel you got us.
The base is, as the name gives away, used mainly for storing contraband but I have been toying with the idea of adding a hydro bay.
We got a lot of water around so it might work for us.
Whats that idea you are thinking about? If there is money to be made I am listening.

let's put it this way. If the plan goes through we'll be kind of a neighbours. With the group getting larger I'd like to expand our business to the second stage. Instead of simple shipping (not that we're going to stop with that) I'd like to actually... obtain and produce some rare stuff, which we then could deliver and sell. And for that we're planning to build ourself a little instalation in Magellan, in the nebula, albeit on the oposite sides of the trade lane than your's is.
In terms of money being made... there could be at least money being saved by you, since we absolutely plan on putting hydroponics and some factory modules in there, so we could give you better bargin for O2 and food than you'd otherwise get and maybe on alloy for repairs too. In terms of money being made... well, if all goes according to the plan, your boys could sell all the salvage they got from well... uncooperative targets to our people. We'll need a lot of it.
By the way, on the account of the fuel, we finaly found a better suplier. I'll have to test them a bit to be sure their prices and supply will hold, but I might be able to cut off few creds from the price in the future.

your organization needs its own base I see. You better make sure to not get on the bad side of the Xenos in the system. Otherwise they will harass you the moment you leave the dock.
The hydro bay does sound interesting. Food and O2 are always in need here and not really easy to come by. And not having to fly multiple systems for alloys
is even better.
Test your fuel source good. I will have need of that stuff soon enough.

so, we have checked the H-Fuel situation and it looks like the supplier is well stocked, but if I'm to be honest, my people are not that keen on hauling it for the current price. We still profit from it, sure, but given they can sell it in Magellan for more than 160 SC a unit on a slighter shorter route no less, I have hard time convincing them - and myself really - selling it even for the 135 SC is a good idea. Do you think we could maybe negotiate the price a bit?
On the unrelated note, we now have a base of operations in Magellan with functioning hydroponics. It's not fully stocked right now, but it should be in few days, so let me know if you'd be interested in buying some food and good old O2 from us and if so, what prices would you consider fair.

seeing how the Cordova sells the alloys for 17 sc/u I figured that should be a good starting point. If we're talking 20 000 cases then the price would be 340 000 SC, though I'm willing to negotiate, provided the other business you mentioned turns profitable. the alloys are delivered, so your base should be good for a while, though I don't know if we'll be able to keep this up. Mining the scrap is hassle I'd rather avoid as much as I can honestly. The other deal we discussed on the other hand looks good. We figured a way to get around the issue we discussed, but it will take time. I'll let you know when we're ready for the trade.
