The patch is in my signature, and here for anyone having issues:

If for some reason, that doesn't work for you - do this:

Open Computer > C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\dsupdate.cfg (change the path as appropriate if you have Freelancer installed elsewhere). Near the top you will see this:

flmoddir = Discovery4854beta
flargs = -s82.113.48.5:2302 -s72.51.60.155:2302 -discouk.game-host.org:2302

You need to change that section to say:

[updatesettings]
flmoddir = Discovery4854beta
flargs = -s82.113.48.5:2302 -s72.51.60.155:2302 -sdiscouk.game-host.org:2302

Yes, it is one "s" - simple spelling mistake. Hope that fixes this for you - be nice to see you online.
