Keep the current page to finalize opinions about Discord bot player tracking only

I just wish to have conclusive decisions being formed how we can act
There seems to be a level of conclusiveness formed around Discord bot topic, things seem to be easy to take decision here unless feedback will get further more confusing.
Seems to be the easiest decision would be to disable player tracking at discord bot side

To be not a bit hasty on the subject of Darkbot functionality i'll see to conclude this topic only in 1-2 week.
This discussion started only yesterday technically. And some time could be given to finalize things

nice tool to have, sad to see it gone

the problem with it was how it was used by people to avoid interactions, which is probably how most people used it

it was also used by people to generate interaction but...it was easily countered by the above

could it be replaced by other bots? definitely...

(mine i use for an insurance idea,the more system you fly the more you pay or hunt down smugglers/traders)

Looks to be poll gets not very changing results from its initial ones.
if nothing else changes on those nearby weekends I'll disable player alerts.

I gave a big thought of consideration if to remove player views itself too or not from darkbot.
After some hesitation i think better disabling player views too despite them being only cosmetic in functioning.
Because there are its own ways to abuse their presence. Plus poll is for their removal too anyway.

Plus doing that move will be helpful for darkbot project making major steps to have entire dev env setup way more opened to contributions
Including entire dev env setup working out of the box without any testing mocks. Which i like as an idea Angel

As far as I know people have already their own discord bots (e.g. the DSE leader)

Also:
It would take around a 30 min sprint to implement a web crawler, which restores the removed feature.
So... the playerlist should rather die than features of one tool using it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With this in mind, I feel like we would have to take things a step further and consider tracking bots as falling under 1.2 (no cheating).

Otherwise uh.. It seems like a moot point to disable one, only for others to be like "lol bet" and code their own, then we're back to the same problem again.

mine can't be used to avoid interaction, by design

dev team has the tools to prevent bots that can be used to prevent interaction (eg traders receiving alerts of pirates, that's really the only downside of bots of this kind)
