Well, I think Asymp said they weren't Chinese or some such thing, that they were anti-Coalition terrorists of some sort that were Mongolian or something. I forget. It's somewhere back in the Thread.

Yeah. It helps to *read* and *understand* what i'm proposing before criticizing it harshly, sometimes. Not all of the time, just a part of the time. Because the rest of the time it's completely permissible to just tell someone to shut up without actually reading what they're talking about.
Yes, me and a few others (definitely not Igiss) would be doing most of the work. Maybe we could even get a voice actor.
We could use existing base models, and just design a few ships and weapons.
Nice, a fellow Quebeceur:DThought I was the only one:D
nope, just an Ontarian with a sense of humour:D

Actually, just after the false peace treaty from the Coalition, they destroyed the French, Italian and one other country's fleet. So there would have been no French or Italian people to make it to Sirius.
Luckily, Rheinland, which was Germany, made it so I can live in the home of MY heritage.:P I'm the freedom fighter (Bundschuh) for it.

Are you forgetting that those fleets were merely 'devastated'? There were still squadrons of French and Italian pilots who survived and kept fighting on throughout the war.:P
I know my StarLancer. Clearly you overlooked these details. I actually did look through the itac database at all the ships and all the squadrons. Repeatedy. I noticed how the database didn't quite update as situations changed. Like one or both of the British squadrons got annihilated at some point, but the itac data did not reflect this.
But it still listed one or two Squadrons each for the French and the Italians, which was the same count of Squadrons that were worth mentioning in the itac for each of the other countries represented in the Alliance.

Should I scan in some sketches? How do my ship descriptions sound? What kind of weapons will the Xiongnu manufacture?
My idea: their weapons shoot very small, very fast moving white rings - probably at about 8.33/s (laser), but maybe at 5.88/s (tachyon).
There'd probably be class 7's-10's, and each would probably contain a different-intensity hint of red (highest-intensity tint would be the strongest, class 10, weapon.)
Well, it seems it's about adding an NPC faction here, so allow me to throw my 2 cents into it.
For some time I have been playing various mods and noticed, that there is completely no wildlife on disco. Both humans and nomads are (or seem to be) civilizations, which can build and exploit resources. Science has confirmed, that some organisms can survive in vacuum and zero-gravity (mostly bacteria). Well, such lifeforms can even be encountered in various places ingame. But what if this life evolved to a more... massive form? Animals - hostile alien lifeforms, that could be encountered in remote places of border-world systems, a sort of space mosters. Big enough to pose a threat to a player's ship. I can even quote an example of thereof. The Nightstalker's universe mod already offers such creatures, they range from crab-like creatures, not much bigger, than a fighter to quite large ones, about the size of a smaller cruiser. They appear in places very rarely visited by players, but often guard a wreck or "lair" full of valuable equipment. How would they function as an NPC faction? Nearly as nomads. Hostile to all life (including nomads) and not appearing on the faction screen. However, the "ships" would have to be availible on the same or more rigoristic rules as the nomad ones. RP-only, if you buy a "monster", you should RP one
