Just blow them up, they wont surely have the language skills to post a sanction, and if they do then that means they are just using "No inglich" as an excuse to avoid RP, which is of course agains the rules.

Now unless Discovery is so hugely popular that there are instructions on how to install it available in other languages, it follows that these people who say "no english", in most cases understand enough to install the Disco mod.

I'll leave you to your own conclusions as to what that means.

As for Corsairs idea....ummmm nope, not happening, thats too much like discrimination, so it's ftl and there are people who who don't have their first language as english, that make the effort to learn enough to be able to play here.

I discovered a remarkable trick with regards to this... You'd be stunned how much someone's english improves when their ship is about to blow up.

"I no hav english" becomes "Dude, if you shoot me once more I'm gunna report you"

I think that we should create a page on the main discovery website, or in the wiki that translates key words and phrases into the main languages found on the server (i'm sure the admins could give some insight into this) so that they can answer people, demand cargo ect in english. this way we would teach them english AND the game becomes more rp and fun for everyone. also a thread could be created by a certain 'language admin' which could be used for non english speakers to ask what certain things mean or how do i say this in english.once again this would educate people.

Sometimes the people that you bring from around the world can ruin your fun. Besides, how are they supposed to have fun without interacting with other people in roleplay IN ENGLISH? If you define their 'fun' as buying a massive pewpew battleship and blow people up, you can do that in SINGLEPLAYER.

i never said that people who are ignorant and won't speak english should not get insta banned, but the people who are at least trying, and u can see that they regularly post on the language thread for example, should be helped.
after all, how would u like it if u turned up, in another country, and can't be understood in any way, so you were kicked out of the country, this is my point, we should help them

but isn't it more fun for everyone if u can all play together as one big community? isn't that the point of the whole server?

But isn't it more fun for everyone who speak the same language and can understand each other all play together as one big community?
