Thank you to the Admins and the Dev team for their hard work. I've said it before, I'll say it once more. Disco is a work in progress, which means that everything is under practically constant review. Our feedback is needed. I can't give any, as I just logged on and need to check out all the new stuff, but I'll try to keep it positive, or at least constructive. Thanks again, guys.
Hi
The BH Guard ID info card has a load of encoding text in it like </TEXT><PARA/><TEXT>
but good work on the udate, that power drain in cruise is going to be interesting as are the bomber
gun changes.

How about the SNACs and Novas we've already been using for years?
Remember that these bomber guns are still more effective on caps than fighter guns were, so bombers have it better right now than they have in any of the prior versions.
For those who might wonder about the Mako hitbox being reverted to the old one:
This is due to a serverlog entry regarding the Mako hitbox anytime a Mako character goes ingame, which Cannon fell over during his daily perusal of the logs.
The server log entry is purely informational, stating that one part of the Sur file can't be recognised and the server aborts loading it - In reality the corresponding part is just discarded, but the rest of the Sur file containing the hitbox is loaded.
Cannon, being omnipotent with regards to FL programming, but not so much in the field of surs and models, decided to proactively revert the hitbox to the old big cylinder, in case this error might have anything to do with the rate of the random server crashes that had increased.
He has since been in contact with me, and the Mako hitbox sans the incorrect part, will be put back in the next update. Untill then, live with it, or change to a Bullhead.
Out of bats, Out of bots, Out of torps - Down to harsh language...

Server log is informational, but logging errors tends to decrease server performance. Even if it has no impact on the server whatsoever, using any item that causes such messages is a big no-no.
keep in mind - it is NOT the cruise that drains the power....
it is the speed that does. - so - it is your speed being over a specific limit that will cause the drain ... if you cruised at a speed of 50, you d not get a drain.
@Jinx
Yeah I noticed that the first time this was tested...power loss happens when your ship goes faster than 200 I think....may have been upped recently though, I haven't had a chance to check
