Actually that is a load of crap because you probably have never flown one. At the range that flaks are fired there is no dodging anything. And seeing the flak is also difficult. But also remember Flak is an anti aircraft gun. Not an anti battleship gun... Still you can dodge battle razors easier and they are less powerful. Ergo, the flak if it is to be nerfed needs to be doing 2500 damage.
I'm guessing it's probably been discussed before, but is it possible to make armor/shields where any amount of damage below a specific minimum amount does nothing?
Agreed, getting a little teed when enemy battleships come in to Minor with a fullout flak loadout against our Osiris's. Our entire BS fleet is screwed within seconds. But, I don't agree with removing the weapon entirely. Flaks are good weapons and all, just the damn vanilla battleship bug has to be fixed.

2500 damage still may be too much...if two flaks can make half of your armored hull gone by one shot...then do the math how much that really is in damage...
1500 tops...800 for cruiser flak...just my opinion
umm, doom, the raven talon is fine. I fly it, its not that great.
what about make flak instead of freelancer type flak, real life flak. in real life, flak is a fast refiring weapon used to destroy planes. now, we can give flaks high refire, high speed, high energy drain, and medium damage. it would be better because then houses can have a weapon as good as the corsair turrets to use.
