The Story Behind the OAF

The O.A.F was found out by a new recruitment of the Order ,He thought that the Order only had fighters ,but has he was discovering through the green cloud's in space he came acrosss a whole fleet of Order ship's ,Battleship's,Gunboat's,Cruiser's,fighters . He came back to Planet Toledo and spread the word ,Soon Order ship's began too see more and more fighter's and even small amounts of gunsboat's.
the O.A.f joined forces with the Order ,and took assualt misison's and defence mission against Liberty.
In return the Order gave there new allies promisison to move up and down the omigron system's.

Forgive me in advance.. I will try to be as gentle as possible though.

Several key areas have already been touched on during this discussion and I feel like I should be allowed my piece as well.

First, the number of factions per NPC alignment is a very big key to gameplay. When you have multiple factions for one NPC alignment you start to have major issues, like who obeys who in a large factional fight.. The potential for hostilities between allies ect. not to mention it adds yet another faction to split members of the community into. If you are going to create a new faction, at the very least pick an NPC alignment that doesn't already have a player faction aligned to it.

Second, the role play for the faction was not very well thought out, if at all. It seems (and probrably is) a 5 minute whack job. If you want people to take your faction seriously you need to give it a serious try. (Click my Red Hessian Army userbar for an extremely good example of a well-thought out faction) Have a bit more history than an order pilot finding a fleet just sitting there in the middle of the order system. Odds are if that happened realistically.. There would be a massive firefight. One doesn't just let a fleet camp out in their home system, or just shrug them off after they come out of nowhere, for example.

Overall a bit more thought and planning is needed. Just for example, when I founded the Shadow Stalkers Organization (which is unfortunately barely active, but around 9 months later) I deliberated it for over a week trying to get all the details right. You should at the very least spend some more time on it, and also consider your would-be allies in the process. IMO, you should have confronted DBoy before you confronted Hoodlum (Not undermining you hood!) to see how he would react to the idea of a "sister faction" for lack of better words, if he was open to it then you could have taken the idea to Hoodlum. In the future think about it.

1. You are not an official Discovery faction, so problem one.

2. You don't just go around saying 'HEY! ALLY ME', it takes time. (Took PA 3 months to get ally ship with me, and they we're a very good faction. You however, are off to a very bad start)

3. Insulting other factions and players usually tends to piss them off. (Oh, I had people watching... That, was one of your biggest mistakes)

4. Want to know the joys of being the Bs| CO? I can do this... NO!

I think that should answer your question quite well... You want to ally, you work for what you want like everyone else has to. Right now you're off to a very bad start, better start thinking a bit more first.

EDIT: Note this, I'm [The_Angels]Dustin, so I've seen what factions you've been trying to do. You did Bretonian Police, and failed. You tried another faction, and failed. And now you're trying this, and I think you can see where its going. Try JOINING a faction instead of leading one. Maybe you'll learn something.
