Actually, it could happen, if needed.

Zoners are quasi-legal, just like Junkers. We don't HAVE to get along with them, after all. It's just been convenient so far to do so.

And I guess I'm a bit confused, because we have two bases that are ours, plus a bit of a presence in house space, and that's it. When you're referring to the Wilde, they have two full systems that are theirs, Nomads have more than one as well.

Lets get an example of a public faction please.

Main reason those factions own multiple systems is because they don't have bases anywhere else. In addition, do you think any other faction would be given ownership over Iota if Keepers relinquished ownership of it?

Just completely repurpose the biggest nomad system in Disco to a Civilian Guard Faction system?

Those aren't very good examples, Agmen. If non invite only factions could have multiple systems, then I wouldn't see so much of an issue, but as of now it's never happened before.

To my knowledge factions aren't allowed to purchase already-purposed systems not of their own guard faction. I.E., in 4.84 the RoS could buy Omnicron 80, because it wasn't 'used', but they couldn't buy Poole, even though it was unpurchased (at the time). Allowing the BHG Core to buy 74 would be about on par with Das Wilde buying Halle (which is currently unowned iirc) and adding Wilde bases there.

And my personal feel for the zoners to the BHG...

The zoners are helping the cores enemy with guns and equipment.

So getting out the tugs to tow the BHG bases to Omega 74 and destroy the zoners bases to clear some room wouldn't (in my point of view) be totally strange.

And for the cores operations space omega 56 is on the edge of where they most often work. And getting a fleet from Omega 56 to Delta is quite a trip. Or you have to pass Gamma, or you have to proceed through a guard system.

What unofficial faction are you even talking about? As a Core player, I haven't the foggiest idea who you are, much less what your plans are for Omicron-74. But clearly this is my mistake and an example of oppression, since the world revolves around you.

(Side note: my opinion as a Core player is that this is far too soon to even ask. O-74 would be a very nice place to control, but we don't -need- it, and I'd rather know the situation in the Omicrons before laying down a bold claim and a billion credits.)
