Its the pirates who refuse to use anything other then a cap-ship and go around in packs of 3 + that seems to be the problem. I've noticed that there is only 2 or 3 -=?=- and NSP players who wont go camp at some pirate base somewhere when 2 or more RM, SF, AW, TG, or several freelancers go around grouped together.
It seems that 2 or more Vs 1 only seems to be a good idea to some of the -=?=- and NSP players as long as they arent the 1 on their own. I dont know why, and personally I dont care. If several house faction players or some freelancers decided to try to stop a pirate all they have to do is group together and sit in texas.
Someone suggested that pirate attacks on a factions trade routes would encourage the use of escorts which is possible. But how are they gonna be able to tell if some of the players who have grouped together are not a transport or 2 with some escorts if they sit inside a base?

We defeated RM, SF, AW and TG in open space.
We use cap ships because 1) it's the only way of winning 2) it's completely plausible having a marauding fleet 3) if you read the faction list you'd understand we're not entirely pirates.

Then stop acting like you are pirates.
You didn't defat *ALL* of us. There are players in different ships you haven't defeated.
and flying cap ships isn't the only way of winning..
Dab, Korrd and a few of the other players have gone to war in nothing but fighters.. and defeated me..
You guys wanted a "war". You forgot the cardinal rule of war... "All is fair in love and war".
You reap what you sow. Now quit b*tching about it.

The only people who had cap-ships that I fought and could never beat in a fighter were korrd and Sam's battleship. And that was in an Eagle. If you have the skills you can take down any ship in the game with a fighter. Cap-ships are very bad at targeting a fighter, and that is why I always use manuverable fighters. You can dodge and evade turrets and missiles while taking potshots at a battleship. Then when the sheild is down you just shoot some torps into it. That is the easiest way to win and what I do most of the time.
And yes you are being ONLY pirates. I havent seen you do anything but pirating yet. And no its not the only way of winning. And have you ever seen the Rogues or Outcasts use a fleet of 8 Huegenots and go fight a bunch of house battleships? No, thats because they only have a limited number of huegenots. Its not plausible to take on a house battleship group with a bunch of pirate cruisers.

Thats interesting. You were unable to destroy my ship (Even when, during a few mins when you all noticed my dual novas, you were all firing at me). I had to ask to be killed when Twilight took out my weps. That was after i took down 3 cap ships with my dual novas, and a fighter, (I dont remember who was)...
I fought bandersnatch, but no one of us won. (That was a good fight daedalus! :))

Yeah it was good, I enjoyed that :)
I didn't notice your dual Novas, though - maybe I should've kept you occupied for longer!
Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons
"Bounty Hunters. We don't need that scum." - Admiral Piett

You left the fight at the right time. I was about to fire you novas at point blank (Thats because i fired all my missiles and mines at you. Damn, i was about to exit the ship and throw you some rocks)...
I look forward to fight you again... :)
