TRON: Legacy

I am watching the movie as I write this, I will keep you posted about my movie experience as it develops...

So far it is 2/5. Nothing really happening.

I choked on a cup of coffee when the security guard knocked on the CCTV monitor to make it work, when one of the cameras went out.... MFROFLMAO

Ok, now we are starting to cook...Those futuristic computer chicks looked little perplexed, seemed like they just came from a Donkey Show... And whats up with their shoes? The computer sexiness is a tad weird, although I can imagine a 13 y.o. kid going at it somewhere in a secluded place...
- "He is different.." No, sh.t, he is...
I think one of them got ho-nee right away...

Why the hell they gotta jump like Shaolin monks on crack before throwing those disks?

I must be too old for this kind of movies. I am having difficulties finishing it. The whole movie smells like Aeon Flux. The futuristic abstractions and fashion reminds me of that move.

Overall I give it a 2/5 on the story line, but 5/5 on the graphics. If you are looking to take shrooms and trip into the cyberspace, then this movie is for you.

I didn't enjoy this movie at all really.

It may be just because the whole story line didn't appeal to me. It felt like a lot of things in the movie were poorly explained. Although the graphics were very good the movie still felt cheesy to me.

I really think you have to have the right state of mind to watch this movie. The same thing happened to GI JOE (something cobra) When I watched the previews, I was impressed, thinking the movie will actually be awesome. When I actually watched the movie I thought it sucked a biggie.
Something is definitely happening to US Movie industry. It seems like there are a lot of crappy computer made movies are coming out, with plots sucked out of a finger. What happened to movies like Titanic, Breavehaert, Seven...just to name a few.

It is getting to the point where it is getting to be ridiculous!!! I watched the beginning of The Tourist the other day. What the hell is up with Angelina walking and smiling all the time? It looked like she was so full of herself, feeling sexy and all that, plus she had a none stop orgasm. SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT !!!!
I mean, don't get me wrong, I am not one of those senile critics, who say that everything is bad and only their turds in the bowl look good. No, not at all. I just like to give some sober POV on things. I can admire something, if it is good, or I can say that it sucked, if it really did.

Hey, it's Disney. Would you expect a deep storyline that would obviously touch themes that a conservative family-oriented might want to avoid? i don't think so.

Although I wish the Tron license changed hands, I would be glad to see a movie with a story as amazing as the graphic style Tron: Legacy had.

Just came back from the cinema after watching this, I must say I was impressed even though I never cared much made by Disney.

In fact, the effects were so good, it took me almost the entire movie to figure out Clu's face was actually CG'd. Of course, Daft Punk's cameo made me go OMG too.

Disappointed. I expected more of Tron in the form of new, cutting edge filming techniques. Not this 1950's 3d crap.

Music was good though.

Other than that, it was awedome. Though more of Flynns light cycle woulda been nice.

It was fantastic. And the way it references the first movie is just great.

Let's see. Well, I usually have more patience than most of my friends, which were like 'What a dull movie'
just when half of it had passed. It's somewhat true. Nothing is happening at all. The graphics were nothing
unseen. The storyline.. they tried to reveal the plot by endlessly talking. Yes. Talking. Then some effects.
Then more talking and more effects. And an early finish, with no ending of the plot whatsoever.

A somewhat good movie, which could be a lot better if the plot was a bit more detailed.



In the end, though, it did carry a message. It did make you turn your brain on for a while.
We're always dreaming about that virtual world, the world in our mind, etc. Always trying to
reach it, to get in, yet we forget that our own, real world is a lot more! More beautiful,
full of life, real. ( - this goes out to all the no-lifers around here, hehe xD)
