Posting as Kimiga

"Not completely gone Admiral." I said at the door. Marcus looked up briefly and did a double take. I would too with the way I looked. My previously red eyes now blue and my jet black hair blonde. "You seem to have forgotten about me..." I said looking around the room with a quiet nature. A green eyed man backed up and stared at me. He rose to his feet slowly and stared with an angry glare.

"You let these...things walk among you with out-"

"Admiral Wilder! Sit down." Merlow boomed.

The man sat down with out another word, only an angry stare.

"Kimiga," Merlow said with a soothing tone, "are you ready to discribe what happened to you and the rest of the Zeta? This is the first time you've spoken since you returned."

I looked down. What happened was worse than I could have imagined.

"I am."

"Very well then, everyone, this is Kimiga Dark, the daughter of Raziel...please pay full attention to her."

-----

"We had a lead that Zakerath, our crazed family member, had made it into this realm and was planning an attack on New York, the central most point in Sirius space. He was after us naturally, but we knew that if we remained in the area that Humans inhabited, he would attack with force. We left your area of space and met him half way out of Sirius...what happened next, none of us could have imagined.

"We began to fight, and then..." I sezied up.

"Go on." Marcus said. "It's ok, you can do it..."

"They came." I finished.

"Who?"

"We don't know, we were totally blindsided. They attacked both sides and captured everyone...but me. They called me weak and...somehow drained my strength and power, and sent me off in disgust, Merlow's group eventually found me by accident, fate I'd imagine."

"Who were they? What did they look like..." Marcus trailed off, seeing the tears in my eyes.

"My father is in trouble, along with the others...that's all I can say...this race...

"Rivals the Zeta." with that I sat down, hands in my lap, and looking down.

I've lost people who meant the world to me...and I'm still doing just fine.

I'm coming for everything they said I couldn't have.

"Certainly disturbing..." Merlow said, stroking his chin, "I thought a civil war was on the horizon, but apparently I was mistaken. Not something that I could have foreseen. Damnit, I lacked data..."
"Sir...?" asked Tessa, "Is something wrong?"
"Don't ask, Tessa. I just require more data. The more data I have, the better. We cannot approach this situation lightly, especially if it is a species more powerful than the Zeta. Unfortunately, until we gather more data, we have to keep a lid on this situation and properly investigate this further. Nagato, make a note to task Section 9 on this current development."
"Yes Admiral. I will inform Director Wright," Rear Admiral Nagato responded mechanically, "Sir, what about our current situation? Are we not looking to gain the confidence of our nation of Liberty?"
"Yeah Robert, what about that?" Scarman asked with great curiosity, "I don't exactly understand what the problem is in this case?"
"Well, there seem to be more established organizations in this universe than any we have ever encountered. I'm not quite sure why, but here the Liberty Navy is actually a very commanding force. They haven't exactly taken our arrival very enthusiastically. We had to keep more than a few things from them, such as the Migrant Fleet and the specifics of the Flagship of our Fleet, the Tuatha de Danaan. Even if they be the Navy of our great nation, I would never forgive myself if they happened to turn out be the wrong hands."

Captain Tokiha Mai leaned forward, "Then what are our options? We obviously cannot take up space in Liberty. We have too many people for Liberty to handle. Hell, we have more than enough to start our own nation."
"That seems to be a bit imprudent considering our own situation," Scarman stated, "We had the support of an established, respected nationstate behind us, guiding our policy. Are we going to abandon our nation, a peoples that we have worked so hard to protect and enforce their will?"
"They already have their defenders." Merlow brought up a holographic image of the Southern Alliance's Fleet Admiral Richard Woolsey, "This is their Fleet Admiral, a Richard Woolsey. According to Section 9's information, he's one of Liberty's most outstanding models of citizenry and general military prowess. Unfortunately, it seems that Woolsey had been absent as of late, and Admiral Anthony Kress is in command of the Liberty Navy. I've yet to talk to this Kress, but it seems that they are well stocked with their soldiers. I don't think we'll have a very warm reception."

"Then for the moment perhaps we ought to integrate ourselves into this dimension's society," Marcus said as he observed Woolsey's dossier, "The fleet can be hidden easily enough, gas giants, nebula, dense asteroid belts, the universe provides limitless hiding places. However my crew is tired and they need to spend time on a proper world, not in cramped, bland living quarters on a starship.
I agree Marcus, Robert replied, Many of those who came with us from the Shattered universe have already begun making lives for themselves on the colony worlds around Liberty space. Of course, many have had to change their identities and some have even undergone physical alterations, so that they dont run in with their parallel selves.
Well, Kurt Manning sniggered, Thats a little extreme dont you think, I dont plan on buying a new face any time soon.
I wasnt suggesting that we all get a face lift Bounty Hunter, Merlow replied with a hint of annoyance. We will just have to keep ourselves to ourselves.

Well, the Avalanche certainly needs a rest, do you know of any friendly space docks we can use. From the looks of things she could use a refit as well as a repair haul-out.
There are some places friendly to us, Thomas Serov said, Or places where people simply dont care. There are enough shipyards in the border systems; if your credit account is large enough they wont care where you are from.
Credits arent an issue, Merlow waved his hand dismissively, Dont worry about the Avalanche Marcus, I can order a full repair and refit detail and cover the costs.
Thank you Robert, Marcus nodded appreciatively. That would be greatly appreciated, not only has the Avalanche been my home for the past few months, shes also saved all of our lives several times.
Shes a good ship, Lucas agreed, Considering her age.
Everything will be sorted out once we reach Liberty space, Robert said, raising his hands. I think that for now we can all have a break, we can have a more thorough discussion once we reach Liberty. Feel free to use the Danaans resources, you know where the canteen is.
