New LABC/Old LABC

Old one. Looks and feels like Liberty. New one just looks like a personal yacht.

for all those that feel the urge to discuss those two ships now - instead of speaking up a few months ago when the serious poll happened:


- think of the old LABC as

btw - you might see similarities between the new naval frigate ... and the new LABC - the streamlined hull, the high tower and the single prominent bridge.

I wish they would both stay in game since, both models are unique and both have fans. And it wouldnt be so unrealistic to see older version of ship in service while replacement class is already deployed.

I know devs are concerned about size of mod etc. :(

That makes sense I guess, old equipment does get replaced with new, even in the real world.
Except for the M1A1 Abrams Battle Tank or so it seems.

Well, keep in mind, the US has bad track record with their military in terms of age, they use many, many decade old weapons, such as the M-16 and the Abrams tank, which you have already said.

On topic, I sort of like both, they each have good qualities, though I am leaning more towards the newer once since I prefer sleek, curvy ships to bricks.

New one looks like small Liberty dreadnought. In my opinion, just give thuster to old LABC and may be 2 additional cruiser class turret hard points.... Im not saying, that new model bad, no its awesom, I just like current one for LABC role more. But its only my opinion, and I will be happy to see even new LABC and will try it offcourse.
Will new LABC have default red-blue lights? I like them :D

.. some time ago we had the "real" poll about it - a vast majority voted for the new one, the new one has already replaced the old one in our alpha. - so i am at a loss why that poll was even made. even if it turned out 100% : 0% for the old one - its a little late to change it now.

.. some time ago we had the "real" poll about it - a vast majority voted for the new one, the new one has already replaced the old one in our alpha. - so i am at a loss why that poll was even made. even if it turned out 100% : 0% for the old one - its a little late to change it now.

Like I said in my main post. Its an argument me and my mate had and I was curious to know where the rest of the comunity stood on this.
